He basically doubly fricked us:

1. By completely not giving a frick in 2020 and 2021 (he as much as admitted this himself) and wasted two full seasons

2. By destroying all the post natty recruiting we had as well as any on team talent that led us to basically a blank slate of 35 scholarship players in January of 2022.

This is not going to be a short road. One that likely takes 1-2 MORE years just to get our defensive talent back to par with the rest of the SEC.

Kelly's first three years at Cincy:
- 10-3
- 10-3
- 12-0

Kelly's First three years at ND:
- 8-5
- 8-5
- 12-1 (natty loss)

Kelly as inherited as much bigger shite show on defense than either of these situations. Have to be patient. House will be fired in December, and we'll continue to move forward.

We all know O left the program in shambles.

But that doesn’t account for the poor coaching we’ve seen this year.

Things we may never recover from. God Bless Kelly in his effort to shore things up.

What’s your savior’s record against top ten teams? Ranked opponents?

Lol this board goes from we're the best team in the west to blaming O for giving up more than 700 yards in a weekend..

People have to stop with this line of thinking. The new transfer and NIL rules have completely changed college football. You can go from zero to heroes in 1 season. With LSU’s brand and name recognition we should be able to pull in the players in the positions of need every year. It all comes down to if BK is going to adapt to the new normal.

I didn't think I would ever see us score 49 and lose. I knew, everyone knew, if Ole Miss got the ball back, which they did, it was over. I'm just surprised OM left us :39 left to try for a late score, too.

You sound like the Biden administration trying to blame the economy, border, foreign policy frick ups he has done on Trump. BK is the $100MM man. Stop trying to provide excuses for the things he is primarily responsible for in year 2.

This is pathetic. BK’s team has regressed in year 2 and you’re still blaming O. Grow some balls

He also has the transfer portal now which he didn’t have at Cincy or ND. So what’s the excuse now?

Radically. Fundamentally. Irrevocably. However it’s just the logical culmination of massive television contracts, proliferation of corporate sponsored“bowls” conference championships, conference hopping, and the treatment of college football as the farm system of professional football.

Coach O was also a victim of that stupid Covid shite. Anybody remember that? No one seems to even mention that. That screwed Coach O tremendously. This is Brian Kelly’s second year. We are getting worse. I know, it’s all coach O’s fault. Excuses always. We need to get rid of all our coaches after this season and start over. They won’t do that though because of his huge contract. Huge mistake hiring Kelly. He’s always good, but never great. We need great. Ain’t happening with Kelly

So the point of your post is what? You sound like you agree with me but don’t like it…ok so what? It is what it is and this is how it is. Either adapt with the times or become irrelevant.

It’s getting ridiculous. O won a title and people are defending Kelly like he’s won 3 titles here.
