Just as bad as that Max Johnson backwards pass against UCLA

same here and Nuss has had numerous sacks that happened the same way this season. Instead of drifting away from the pressure for some reason he often spins directly into it. He has the some of the worst pocket awareness I have ever seen.

It is truly amazing how amateur Nuss is with his background. Growing up in football, Dad is a coach, etc. To me it just proves he’s lazy and has taken for granted that exposure and used it to coast by. Sad for him.

Very well said

Yeah, yeah step up and hit the left lane or step up and dump it off, the lb already bit on the inside and there was a man open right past the right tackle.

Yeah, hindsight but it’s his job to see that.

Second-hand embarrassment on this play. Like come on, Nuss.... yeah I know the Oline has been bad, but goddamn, your football IQ cant be this bad.

All he had to do was step up, move to the right, hit the RB check-down, run, or throw the ball away.

There's no way hes draftable at this point.

I've been an LSU fan since 1983. Worst offensive line I have ever seen. Horrible beyond words.

360 degrees of field to choose a direction from.

350 of them were completely open.

The o line on that play did fine. The left tackle pushed the guy way up field.

Eh the defensive end chose to go up the field. The left tackle got bullied

The oline actually did good on that play. Curne had his man pushed out of the play until Nuss’ retarded arse decided to run backwards straight into them.

Nuss simply takes one step forward and he is actually inside a nice pocket

The OLine is coached to block rushers to the outside to form a pocket. QB steps up and buys time. Watch that play and imagine if Nuss had followed standard protocols.

This guy gets it-------why can't the QB of the team get it too.

I think if you asked Nuss off the field, he knows what to do. However, for some reason, he is playing with no confidence, and he's in total fear. His cortisol levels must be through the roof. That is causing complete brain fog. In that state, he cant even find his own rear end if his life depended on it. I've seen it in the corporate world, and Ive read about in extreme situations, like on a battlefield. Very sad to see. Because of this, he's digressed big time and killed his chances in the NFL. The mental side of being able to execute under extreme pressure is huge. Sad to see that none of the coaches see this. They would have actually done him a favor taking him out and someone working with him on his mental state and causing him to see this and reboot his nervous system so he can think. It's painful to watch. Add to this the fact that this O line is the WORST in LSU history. The whole situation is a downward spiral.

This. Nuss has zero pocket awareness. He should have stepped up and moved to his right.

No field vision. See the play just before the half where the OLine gave him 5-7 seconds to throw (easily the best protection all season) and he still couldn’t find anyone open and threw a wounded duck down the middle into the dirt.

The Saints suck under his tutelage. I wonder if they’re both on the take?

I'm hearing a lot of nostalgia for Les, myself included. We were always tough, always physical, and even when we ran toss left and right until we lost, the other team still felt it for weeks.

PS - and Les had some of the GOAT pre game speeches.

will nuss get the biggest reception on senior night ever?

gotta think yes only because his time here is coming to an end and the fanbase can’t for that to happen
