The incoming freshmen at the cancelling big 10 schools should be let out of their letters of intent. They should be allowed to attend other schools since they have been screwed over by their new pussy conference. They should not be held hostage.

Um yeah. They're playing a sport in which they can be concussed, break a bone, be paralyzed, or die on every single snap. Yeah, you're concerned about their health from getting a virus that has a 0% chance of harming them at their age and athletic health. But hey, once covid passes, go out there and get CTE for us! You're safe!

Also, what a joke if you think that coronavirus won't still be here in the spring. The only difference between this fall and next spring will be that the election will be over with.

They’re gonna have football and baseball? I’m assuming basketball will also be cancelled?

If you talking about Player then the idea of Playing in the Spring May be the Stupidest Idea of all. Two full season in less than one calendar year? F*&$ That!

We ignore the medical professionals

Random anonymous internet guy is a medical professional?

Not sure who you are talking about, but i don't gleam my insight off of any 1 person. I use a combination of research, independent thought, and critical thinking skills.

Again 99.97% survivability, but i'm supposed to be scared by internet phd.

Actually, there are many medical professionals advocating for school opening and for football to be played

Not those professionals only the ones they want you to believe.

That's fine. SEC, ACC and Big 12 can play in the Fall, crown a NC, and the Big 10 and PAC 12 can play with themselves in the Spring and wonder why all of their recruits bailed.

Just as soon stay in our hole till there is a vaccine. And that could be in 10 years. Meantime we can play monopoly till someone wins in about 10 years.

"Pictures of refrigeration trucks"? Pretty sure that scene was limited to NYC at the height of the virus AND numbers wise, came from the nursing homes'victims. In May. And every SEC university has its own ream of medical experts. As one such medical epert put it on ESPN this morning, medical experts in Calif and Arizona, both hot spots, are going to have different findings than other states not considered hotspots.

There are plenty of stories of people battling this for weeks, even months. It's not the same for every person.

So let's take the approach that it IS the same for everyone? And assume that it is worst case?

that's right and not every person contracts the virus.

the players are in better care within the program than left to the liberal BS spouted out each day from the leftist.
