Just win. Don't need to worry about the extra curricular activities. Just create the atmosphere to back the Tigers and help them win the game.

While I don't think that Texas turned off the AC, what actually happened was as bad or worse. My friends son played for LA Tech and they played there the week before us. The locker room was so poorly insulated and it was extremely hot, that even with the AC turned all the way down, it was very hot. Texas knew this, it was even hotter the day of our game and we were going to have many more people in the room than LA Tech did and Texas didn't bring in extra AC units to help cool the locker room down.

As far as the visitor seating, I remember when A & M joined the conference, the SEC made them give the visiting team 1000 tickets in the lower bowl.
They had wanted to wait till there upgrade was finished the next year becasue they didn't have that requirement in the Big 12 and the SEC wouldn't budge.

Take the low road and put the band in the upper, return the AC favor, and then spank them on the field. Then, when we go back to Austin, haul in our own mobile AC’s and leave the band at home so they have a huge gap in the stands.

I remember they shot a cannonball through a Burrow jersey. That was kind of weird.

I was there too, pic I took with my son is my Avatar on TOS. He was a little boy then standing in my seat looking over my shoulder. We look eye to eye now and he damn sure isn’t hugging on me anymore.

9 & 2 took care of that problem that night... "that might be the knockout punch!"

If anyone has ever seen our visitor's locker room, it's pretty bad. Extremely small. I don't even know how a whole team fits in there.

That should be punishment enough.

That team sucked
Oddly enough, I don't think the team sucks without Covid.

You still had Chase and Marshall scheduled to return, you had Stingley and Ricks at corners, you had Brennan finally starting at QB. You had TDP and Emery expected to take over at RB.

If that would have been a normal offseason, and normal season, I think we're looking at a 10+ win year. Most likely you don't see the opt-outs of Chase, Shelvin, Farrell, Vincent, and Marshall. We would have opened against UTSA and laid waste to them, and probably worked out some kinks in the new schemes.
That team was a lot more fragile than, say, a Saban Bama team, which plowed through Covid without much problem.

Yep I remember hearing about our guys cramping up the whole second half because of that criminal assault imo. Of course we’re not stupid and won’t risk seriously injuring their players like that. We don’t need that kind of help. Bush league

I bought Texas Season Tickets to have better seats for that game.

We’ll sit them and their band in the SW Lowers and forget that they sat us in their corner nosebleeds.
