could see him relapsing and doing some really, really dumb shite that lands him in legal trouble

There’s no way he hasn’t already relapsed. Dude looked shithoused in that pic in the hotel room, no one is going to sit there and say with a straight face that O isn’t drunk as hell in that picture

I legitimately worry he will turn lsu in for some ncaa infraction things in spite. Let’s be clear, O doesn’t love LSU and it isn’t his “dream job”. He is a salesman with an extremely hot temper.

I doubt it with an NDA. If he does, he'll get sued for everything he owns

Why would he have an NDA? And I don’t think that would work anyway legally for preventing someone from bringing wrongdoing into light

Why? The buyout is Orgeron getting paid what he is owed in his already signed contract. I can’t find a single thing mentioning any college coach signing an NDA

LSU isn’t just going to cut him a check for the buyout. They’re going to sit down and negotiate a settlement where he will get some but not all of the buyout and they will all sign a confidentiality agreement with very onerous consequences for violating said agreement.

My guess is once he knows for sure it’s over, he tried to burn it all down and take the whole program with him.

Based on what I know from a very reliable source who was directly involved with the USC termination, not good.

That type of behavior isn't unusual for Orgeron though.

He got fired from Miami for allegedly beating the shite out of a guy at a bar, among other things.

At Ole Miss, he tried to fight a reporter he thought was "sabotaging" his program, and challenged his own players to fight him. None of it made him unhireable.

At his age, I just don't envision him spiraling into more serious legal trouble, unless

I played with him and Bobby Hebert at Northwestern LA. I tell you I saw BeBe many drunken nights and in many fights. And he didnt lose them. He was one bad MF those days. May still be

Woodward will probably need a few body guards in the office

If it was me I would have a smile and head to the beach.
He has won the lottery no matter how it turns out.
Think he ever dreamed, as a young man that he would be so successful?

This seems like the answer

In spite of his behavior he gets some money in exchange for cooperation on the way out

Why would Orgeron agree to anything other than what he is owed?

He has LSU by the short hairs. They can’t really fire him with cause for the title ix stuff because they last thing they want is that laundry getting aired out

We'll see how it plays out but I think his public behavior not including the possible title ix issues put his payout at risk.

I think the primary reason for him to get any substantial amount is to reduce the potential for the shitshow getting worse and more public

The real question is: How will TigerRee/Derek handle the firing?
