That's because they aren't very good. That's coming from people who have watched the practices.

What do you want people to say? No one has any idea how good they are. In fact, all we know is that as of now, they probably aren't good enough to start in a secondary that was awful last year. There really isn't anything to talk about.

I know this is kinda of a hot take but I think our secondary isn't anywhere near the question mark people think it is. In fact, I think it's going to be pretty good.
Unlike our DL, our DB rooms is actually loaded with high ceiling options including the two from OSU. I get that we don't know who's going to emerge but with that many "lotto tickets" in hand, you only need 2 maybe 3 to hit.
Bold prediction: by midseason our DB room will be considered a top 10 unit in the country. The upside is absolutley there. Massive coaching upgrade, tons of experience, tons of raw talent, and most importantly a ton of options.

I'm intrigued to see what Sage can do with proper coaching and playing in the correct spot. Let's be honest, poor bastard has had to endure the Orgeron and the Matt House era. Maybe he pulls a speights and shows his talent when he's in a better system.

I was excited about Sage Ryan. I thought he had the makings of an elite DB.
Based off of what? His 5-star high school rating? You people are such star gazers. Lol
Having 5-stars behind your name always impresses you bozos. He’s done nothing at LSU to show that he has the makings of an elite DB.

We seem to have done well with Ohio State transfers
Who was that CB from Jacksonville who was made of glass?
DBU should not be acquiring Ohio St's castaway DBs

Aka spring and fall camps.

Time for them to sh#t or get off the pot!
Johnson was injured all of last season. Brown just got here this offseason.

Johnson got torched in last years spring game and hasn’t pushed the starters at CB. He would be at best the 4th Cb. Brown is decent per practice reports but mostly has played as the dime DB.

I have no idea how good they actually are
Yes you do.
They moved Sage back to CB a week into fall camp.
