I think the observation under question is that libtard Woody overpaid for Jimbo and is he about to do the same with Kim in a sport at LSU nobody cares about and already loses millions.

If the big money folks think it’s okay why not pull the trigger?

It’s not like we’ll be paying her salary via tax dollars

I agree. I don't give ONE FLIP about lesbian basketball, but there is NO WAY IN HELL Mulkey is leaving Baylor without MAJOR concessions about LSU committing totally to basketball. Men and women. This will be a major plus for Wade if she is hired.

Jimbo was not happy at FSU. They weren't making the commitment in terms of facilities and dollars and were being stubborn to make those changes.

They cared about WBB when pokey was going to final fours. Under K Mulkey they will again. I’m ready to buy season tickets and IDGAF about WBB

Mulkey is a winner. Plus, that’s Kramer’s mom!

I remember those days. Just hope Kim can get the same type of stars she greets at Baylor. Simone is a once in a lifetime recruit for LSU and Sylvia is an all time great. Came thru at same time and no title. Shows you just how hard it is to do and Kim has done it more than once.

Kim's first Natty as HC, should've been LSU's Natty.

Couldn't break a press, couldn't box out..

Kim will bring the minutiae, the attention to detail..the talent.

LSU needs this Title 9 W..and good news.

Agreed this should have happened years ago. Not sure she can replicate what she has done at Baylor (she’s 58). But I’m now interested in WBB again. Kind of wish they would offer DS first only because she is still in her prime

Love DS, but if I were to gamble on KM vs DS translating what done to date when at a new coaching stop..

Give me KM's lifetime resume vs anyone..even Summitt, Auriemma,etc..

I have never watched an LSU WBB game in my life and even I would be pumped about this hire

Yahoo!!!
Now let’s go get a 2 million dollar swimming coach and a 1.5 million dollar women’s golf coach.

What the hell? Jimbo? A goofball made famous by someone who makes me think of crab legs… a coup? A hiring notch in the bedpost? Nah Bruh
My favorite take is Jimbo only won a NC at FSU because of Winston - but also Winston completely sucks as a QB.

You can't have both, pick one.

I don't follow WBB closely, but Nikki Fargas to Kim Mulkey would be a major upgrade.
Ya think?

It's like an Ed Orgeron to Nick Saban major upgrade. (Sorry if that hurts the delicate feelings and sensibilities of all the O Sycophant MAMM's. (Mediocrity Accepting Mental Moron's)

The point is that A&M wanted Jimbo and had the cash to do so. $$$$$ made it happen.

Same can be said for Mulkey at LSU

Show me where Fargas won a national title at LSU and your simile might make sense.

Ho hum... unbelievable overpay.... of course the women of our 900,000 or so MSA will step and sell the PMAC out and pay seat licenses to recover/cover the cost.....450,000 women in BTR... perhaps 50 go to the games.... few go to softball... parents go to soccer. Joke

He would have left FSU for half of what they paid at aTm.

He was about to have to leave for whatever his buyout was. Jimbo voluntarily left before he was forced to. He ran that once proud program into the mud
