Tackling issues, but honestly I don't think he was right

I don't remember him having that big of a tackling issue last year.

But there wasn't a Safety taken in the first round was there?

the bigger question is how are 6 CBs better than Kristian FUlton?

The SECOND CB from Ohio State?

The guy who covered the SECOND BEST WR on every shitting Big 10 passing offense?

Doesn’t really need to be discussed if you watched last season, which I’m assuming we all did

Teams got obsessed with his missed tackles. Right or wrong.

Also safeties didn’t play in this draft. McKinney from Bama looked like a lock from mocks and didn’t go first round. In fact I’m not sure a single safety went first round.

The cornerbacks thing is strange. AJ Terrell played one good passing offense all year and got fricking destroyed. And he’s the third best corner? I just don’t understand what teams are basing that on

How do you love Ruggs that much and then draft a fricking 3rd rounder over the guy that more or less Shut Ruggs down?

fricking Raiders.

Delpit was terrible for most of the year. Injury or no injury tape don’t lie.

I still think Delpit is going to be really good in the NFL but I understand him not being a 1st rounder after this season. He had a few really good games where he flashed how good he is but overall he didn’t play like a 1st rounder this past season. Too many bad missed tackles for a safety. I think it was due to battling injuries for a lot of the season because the back end of the season he was looking more like his old self. Someone is going to get a steal in the 2nd round with him and Fulton.

Watch Delpit on Clemson’s 2nd touchdown. There’s your reason why. I was so pissed watching him jog (being nice) down the field behind the receiver.

He was forced to play deep safety once harris went down and he’s way better playing closer to the line, add that with the bum ankle and he slid. I won’t make excuses for his missed tackles though. I think he will make a great pro player and is one of if not the best safety’s lsu has produced

Arnette was an awful pick at #19. He was being mocked in the 40s or 50s. The fact that he was the 4th cb off the board was honestly a joke. Then Igbi(however you spell it) from Auburn. Lol I'm sorry button Fulton is a better player than both. I like Gladney from TCU though. And Terrell might be better but might not also. I have no idea how Fulton didn't go to some of those teams selecting cbs. Perhaps his interviews didn't go well? Maybe the issue sitting out two seasons for the drug test tampering came up? Don't know but Fulton is a much better corner than Arnette and Igbi.

He wasn't terrible. You can argue whether or not the Thorpe, all-American and all-SEC awards were undeserving (which is remarkable just typing all that out), but terrible doesn't describe it.

I agree. He was the best DB in the country for almost 2 years and then dropped off the radar. As a Bama fan I am shocked he was not selected in the first round. I was positive he was a top 5-15 pick in this years draft.

He sucks at tackling. Literally the only thing that kept him from being a first round pick.
