They also had at least five plays that should have been in the sportcenter top 10 plays of the week in the second game.

LSU run ruled Nicholls with their full lineup. I’m not sure why everyone is so scared of them.

Money is what he is. He will not walk a bunch of people, which on this staff has made him needed. But outside of that he is not very good at all. I want money eating innings with a 5+ run lead, not starting a game of a regional.... Ever

He has a 1.93 ERA with 97 SO. Allowing .176 BA. He is 6’5”. I think he is a take. He could be a Sunday guy or long relief next year and work into a weekend rotation his Jr year.

“Jacob is very good.” I’ve heard these things from people whose opinions actually mean something. Not just the casual fans like majority of us just spouting things.
LSU should still be able to beat Nicholls, but it may be a struggle, and we may have to rally. Our bats could even struggle. An unusual 4 seed, with an unusual ace. I expect a lot of melting on this board, during that game on Friday.

An unusual ace would be if Stephen Strasburg or Ben Sheets would be ether ace.
I get it he may be better than some people at that level of baseball but LSU has faced a dude like him 1000 times this season.
