Nicolls State just won their tourney today.

I listened earlier to the Nicholls/UNO game on 100.3 and Nicholls won 6-3 and won the Southland conference tourney. On Monday Nicholls may be sent to the LSU regional Jacob Mayers is a really good freshman pitcher for Nicholls and I hope he winds up in the portal and LSU can get him. He is a very good pitcher.

We were always throwing Floyd or Hurd. I'd be perfectly fine with throwing Floyd and then having Hurd face off against another teams #4 at best.

It wouldn’t be worth the gamble to pitch anyone else Game 1 regardless of the 4-seed. They cannot fall into the loser’s bracket.

Yes, I suppose with a really lucky draw they might have felt comfortable to risk a different starter. I’m just not sure they would have.

Good I hope they try and steal 100 times. They literally played the game of their life against us with Bucknham and Hellmers pitching on a midweek game. Pitching most of their best arms lol
