Can someone explain to me how the top 3 teams in the legacy sec west would be LSU, ole miss, Alabama, and then your legacy East top three teams are georgia, tennessee and missouri and somehow texas first s e c schedules, plays just one of these top six teams?
I think that's the worst problem about the issue with the penalty. Last night is the fact that it's Texas and some people are starting to get the filling that they're already expecting and trying to get a little different treatment in the sec. But besides that, by giving Texas such an easy schedule, it creates Major possible issues down the road for the sec. Because we can have multiple people. Finish the year with the same record, which would not have happened, had texas had to play their fair share.
Edit sorry for brain rot used voice to text
Also, no one cares who th3 historical good teams are. We are talking about recently, which is what's relevant.

How are you putting Missouri over Florida as the legacy East team?

Texas is LGBTQ1974 of the SEC
Texas A&M is the OG - LGB

How in the name of Jesus do you have Ole Miss over Auburn and Missouri over Florida
Arkansas has a prouder history than Ole Miss

Or ole miss over auburn as far as legacy goes in the west?

I'm talking about thr last 4 years. I.e. what was relevant when making their schedule

Texas wasn’t “given” any kind of schedule. They just lay out the schedule the way it lays out- nobody’s sitting there computing and trying to give Texas an easy schedule on purpose. Some of you don’t understand anything about the way college football works.

Ole Miss legacy? Why

Auburn is the clear No. 3, and even Arkansas has won the SEC West. Ole Miss has never been to ATL.

I'd say maybe you don’t understand how college football work$. The only reason UT and OU are in the SEC is money. You’d be painfully naive if you didn’t think money and some behind the scenes discussions were had with Texas when planning their joining.

With the exception of Vanderbilt and Kentucky and maybe MST,…..there isn’t an historically weak team on the schedule. Ask Oklahoma.
Texas is really good but losing at home by 15 to Georgia is about right I think.

I would say Auburn over Ole Piss and Florida over Missouri for “legacy” top programs.

This post is an indictment on the Louisiana educational system.

Texas caught some breaks because they had Michigan on their schedule already from a decade ago that happened to win a national title in the time they were finalizing these SEC schedules. We can't draw any conclusions about how teams are going to be treated going forward from the 2024/2025 conference slate.
Is it preferable treatment that Texas A&M doesn't have Alabama or Georgia on their schedule?

Some you don’t understand how the sports media complex along with conferences promote select teams to increase revenue.

you are getting a ton of downvotes, but something is fishy. First, Texas gets a great schedule for year 1 and year 2 in the SEC, while OU gets the shaft. Then, if you watched the game last night, they were getting calls that bama doesn't even get. What the hell is going on?

LSU is certainly on that list with Texas

Their schedule the next few years will be pretty tough, it comes and goes. LSU will get its turn too
