Sorry to see this happen for whatever reason. Brosette was the earlier version of Nussmier. He was a talented back playing behind Fournette and Guice, waited his turn and had a great senior season sharing time with Clyde. Too bad that 2018 was his senior season and he missed the championship run, but he was part of the group which laid the foundation.
Say what now? He was NO WHERE NEAR as talented and those other backs.

You think he got fired because he couldn't squeeze enough money out of the OBJ's and Burrow's of the world?

I assume that position is really meant to be a 2-3 year rotation to help former players get their foot in the door on a college coaching staff.
I agree this could be a steppingstone level job for players wanting to further their career in coaching. You gotta start somewhere to gain valuable experience how successful CFB programs are run. I wish Nick the best as he's a good guy.

Hopefully Nick can parlay that experience into another job on a different staff
NB has valuable contacts with High Schools, coaches, and players throughout the State. I don't think he will be unemployed long. Brossette will more than likely be hired by an SEC West opponent. A&M, Texas, ALA, etc... would gladly find a position on their staff for him.
As much as tRant bitches about Brandon Harris, he's done very well for himself and respected in the coaching profession.
Business is business when you gotta support your family as a CFB coach. Karl Dunbar, Bo Davis, Scott Cochran are just a few of the former LSU players and coaches who were hired at ALA.

And you no where near understand what I posted. Please point out where I said he was their equal. Some of you dumb fricks just live to try to denigrate people when you are so fricking stupid.

Heard in the past that blindside is CBK style, he has no relationship to the young men around him players or others.

Easy position to cut if you have to trim fat to fit a budget or open up money for a more football-relevant position

Beth Rex (Chief of Staff) and Jas Smith (Director of Football Ops) also have been relieved from their duties.
Apparently Rex is threatening to sue.
Undergoing a complete overhaul of recruiting department

If i had to guess, he probably wants to hire somebody to that position. Likely someone who graduated and is out of eligibility and was on the team. I assumed, and I'm not the only one judging from earlier posts, that this is kinda an entry level job to get your foot in the door in a football program and probably not intended to be a permanent job. There are a handful of those jobs for former players.

Not a fan of this at all, and I like BK. Cant imagine this is good for staff morale if an alum is blindside fired for no reason (at least according to Jacques).

Beth Rex (Chief of Staff)
she left the program voluntarily and resigned from her position on 10/2/2024 - 3 1/2 months ago.
edit: Jas Smith worked directly under Beth Rex in football ops, and both were on Kelly's football staff at ND. Haven't seen reports yet that she was let go from her position @ LSU

He slid over from TAF and althougha nice guy he was not good at this position. He has a laid back and quiet personality and this position needs a higher profile former player or a fmr well known high school coach!

Weird timing for sure
No it isn't. End of season, recruiting wrapped up for this signing period. If you going to make a change it is the perfect time.

Paul Turner got a on field job at Charlotte
Jacoby Stevens not returning either
This revenue sharing means some positions are likely going away for good, you have to trim the unnecessary positions
Don't need an alumni/outreach position when the portal will likely become your way of acquiring players

I didn’t realize he left.
Would like to see us keep Rasco, but obviously these guys want to move on up eventually
