As long as they get JD that's willing to take chances, it could be Lamar on steroids.

But Twitter told me several times how Daniels Heisman season was a fluke he didn't deserve.

What a bunch of losers. I can't wait for him to light it up!

NOT with the Commanders Offensive Line.

Worse than the Bengals.

They're one of those poorly managed NFL teams that "Just doesn't get It."

After picking JD5, they should have spent the entire remainder of the Draft on OL's to protect their investment.............

I’m still baffled Chicago went with Williams.

He should be scared. Tell me exactly who does Washington have on offense, besides a 1st round qb that hasn't taken a snap in an NFL game? You're going with an ESPN story? Please. That entire company is full of shite. Look, I want JD to succeed too, but pump the brakes.

But he will get absolutely destroyed with his running style in the NFL, the way he takes hits.

That's my concern, I think he showed he can read defenses and make the throws, and he was not a one read and run guy like some of the guys he's compared to. But he's slight and that straight up running style makes him more vulnerable to injury.

JD is the one that will be scared to death with that Washington OL.

I wish the Bears would have taken JD with the #1 pick. If in the right system he will be great.

He should’ve gone first overall but I’m thankful for him landing in DC for the Skins. Barring injury, he’s going to win OROY and make a lot of money for the skill players around him.

Terry McLaurin. Who did Stroud have on the Texans last season? These types of QBs elevate those around them. The Oline is the only concern on offense and yeah it’s a major one.

I dont see that IT factor in him! But who the frick am I?

You don’t see the IT factor in a QB that was doing stuff unseen last year in college football on his way to winning the Heisman and made a meteoric jump? Calm under pressure like Burrow?

You’re right…

He better start putting on some weight. Some of the hits he took in college could be a problem for him.

The running will be tempered in the NFL because it has to be. But he’s at least as good a runner as Lamar Jackson right now, and a more polished passer than Jackson was when he entered the league.

Then again, Washington fans have heard that

He actually is a better straight line runner.

As a Skins - err, Commanders - fan, I hope he lives up to the hype.

He has a lot of potential, but he has to increase his processing speed and get down more often when running. Cut and run at the first sign of trouble isn't a sustainable method of playing QB in the NFL.

Yeah, I remember RG3. Wilbon and company declared him to be the model of the future who would surpass, Manning and Brady. A couple years later RG 3 was out of the league.
Hope JD watches his films and avoids the hits, if he expects a long career.
