I’m just laughing at the guy who “knows for a fact!” that this new guy sucks and anyone who wants to wait and listen before ripping his head off is a joke.

I’m sure we’ll get 25 bitch threads during or after the first home game (with old Rudy leading the way) about how much Dixon sucks and how it’s such a travesty what LSU has become.


And I’m sure he’ll be fine and most fans won’t care.

Yeah, I don't get the level of hate some people are showing. He did fine at the basketball games this year. There isn't some deep bench of game announcers in the area, and he's done the work to put himself in line for this position. Dan Borne was not some obvious choice when first selected, and he grew deeper into that role over the years. I think in a few years this bitching about Dixon will look stupid.

Laughing at how much you think you know Nix. I have heard Dixon call CHS games or should I say flub his way through CHS games for several years and LSU women and men's basketball announce for a couple of years. He sucks and on top of that he is a douche of a person. Look at the original thread 80% downvotes for him getting the job. People don't like the way he announces and don't want a douchebag to be the voice of Tiger Stadium. You do comprehend that 80% is a huge majorulity don't you? Either Franquez or Mike Smith would have been much better choices and there would be no backlash about them . There is a huge backlash on douchebag Dixon even the majority of guys who went to CHS laugh at him.
