Casanova might have had more if they had those awards at that time, but he didn’t and he isn’t. And he wouldn’t have been eligible for the awards for defensive linemen anyway.
Look up who is the most decorated defensive player in LSU history; A defensive tackle by the name of Glenn Dorsey.
I’m just pointing out that in no way, shape or form can anyone objectively say that Dorsey is “overrated.”

The funny thing about all of Dorsey’s 2007 awards is they were won by his play in 2006. He was beat up and injured for much of 2007. His 2006 season was incredible and much better than his 2007.

We do not talk enough about this LSU Tiger. JT
Taylor rushed for 1,314 yards and scored 20 rushing touchdowns over his LSU career, and led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in scoring in 1956 and 1957.

He was a great tiger and deserved to be an AA, but he doesn’t belong in the top 4 players to ever play at LSU imo

Casanova’s number is decorating Tiger STADIUM… I’m pretty sure that trumps any and everything else…

Saw everyone on that list except Billy Cannon. He stays on it and add Honey Badger. I've never seen someone who could change the game on defense as fast as him. Prob Cassanova

Not for me. This heart wrenching iconic photo has remained one of my favorites throughout football lore.

Over Tyrann Mathieu?

yes.....

Glen SHOULD have been the closest Defensive player to get the heisman since woodson. Mathieu was great but the honey badger marketing is the only reason he made it to NY. and his off field antics knocks him out of any "greatest" ever convos...

If we didnt take off field antics into consideration, Cecil the Diesel would be considered the best player in LSU history.

By that logic, he’s more deserving than Joe Burrow and JD

I’d go with Glen Dorsey

3 Heisman winners and the most decorated defensive player.

I’d have Devin White ahead of all of these.

Yes. Dorsey didn’t get kicked off the team and kicked out of school.
