I think you're saying Miles was claiming that when we had Mett, we won 10 games a season.

No, you still don’t get it. He said he passed more when he had better passers, he ran more when he didn’t have great passers, either way he averaged 10 wins per season. Don’t tell me how to run my offense.

Do bowl games count when claiming a 5-loss season? Needed for future melts

They also count when you have never won ten games.

Follow-up question: Les, why didn’t any halfway decent QBs want to play for you?

Or, why couldn’t you recruit and develop QBs?

Ok, I see what you're saying, but I didn't see him say anything about his average wins. If that's the case then I stand corrected. By the quote, he isn't clearly referencing his average wins per season. My initial read is that he's differentiating between seasons with good passers like Mett and otherwise.

And you're quote would have been more badass

I guess it's the nature of the sports fan to constantly compare the HC to the one we had before. Les put up with not being Nick Saban for 11 plus years. How did he respond? He put his head down, went to work and won a natty and played for one more, won two SEC titles and played for one more and averaged better than 10 wins per year. Those are facts that can't be changed. Right or wrong, O aint shite until he's better than that. Hell, Les' tenure was better than Nicks and he'll likely never get the gratitude he earned.

I did, but some people on here couldn't and showed up in full force for the 2015 A&M game and got him re-hired after our 19-7 win

Never change rant. You are a special kind of stupid.

Yes I know, this is what happens when you accept mediocrity.

Yes I know, I demand perfection but someone else has to pay for it.

Thanks for objective reality. I see you weren't one of the mouthbreathers at the 2015 A&M game

Why so angry? Does it matter ?

FWIW.. LSU HAD 2,129 yards passing in 2011 and finished 13-1

2609 yards in 2012 and finished 10-3

3,263 yards in 2013 and finished 10-3

So, to that point these are three 10 win seasons ... Yet the best season of those three years wss 2011..

That said there is !more to football then how many yards your quarterback throws for!!!!

Criticizing the coach that won LSU 2 conference titles and a national title? Solid work.

Are you saying that from 2011-2013 we had a "passer"? If so, then Les' calculations for [the percentage of 10 win seasons without a passer] were even more inaccurate than I initially thought.

Or, you could rewrite Les' quote like others to mean that he was claiming that he averaged 10 wins per season. In which case, we aren't debating anything

No, if you read the post, I'm criticizing the coach's quote
