NCAA allows players to have social justicmessages on their jerseys. Any comments on this?

So they can have messages on their jerseys, but can't get paid of financially benefit from their likeness. I'll standby and wait on the mutiny in CFB.

Nothing to say other than I won’t watch it. I’ve had it with this shite. I had already stopped watching “professional” sports and I have been preparing to stop watching NCAA if it followed suit.

That are representing a university, a-hole. They are getting paid with a full scholarship which includes everything. They get a stipend also. Back off

It's called a "uniform" for a reason and should represent the university, not individual statements. What about the Old saying "I play for the school on front of the jersey/helmet not the name on the back". FYI, can't wear the wrong socks in the NFL but political messages are ok ?

Shouldn't they also be able to raise awareness for other causes they feel passionately about such as mental illness, physical handicaps, terminal illness, poverty, education, women's rights, etc?

Why do this ? There’s no plus side. Why open it up for controversy? The so called elite adults who are in charge are the stupidest idiots and weaklings in society

And yet this very same organization instituted the "Tim Tebow rule"
