Solid list! Only place I would add for nicer drinks would be L27 Rofftop Bar. Cant beat the views of downtown Nashville from here.

Thanks for the suggestions! I do have one question. My wife and I will be there with our 16-year-old son. We'd like to check out some of the music venues and general vibe in the Broadway/downtown area, but is that viable with a teenager in tow? He would enjoy it, too, but I don't want to waste our time if he's not going to be able to get into any of the music places. Any thoughts or advice?

Another pretty good food/bar spot is Clyde's. It's about a mile from Vandy and has a couple of ping pong tables and shuffleboard that go along with good food, plenty of tv's, and a cool atmosphere.

some businesses/churches that will offer parking for $10-20

If it’s a church, I would gladly pay more

Damn baw this is awesome. I appreciate it

I'll be at the game Saturday but I also just moved to the area a few months ago so this is extremely helpful.

i would add that my favorite hole in the wall in east nashville for margs is 'el fuego' who makes $3.99 margaritas from scratch

I live right by this place and love their food, but they make their margs with soda water which is equal parts weird and gross

I love bartaco's margs, they're just so expensive.

really?? I love them. I hate sweet margaritas loaded with syrup or Sprite like Rose pepper and love these because I can taste the tequila and lime juice and it's not overpowered by sugar.

I will say this, for the music City bowl, that town was not prepared Friday night before

Everywhere was closing down early, restaurants weren't letting people in because of how understaffed they were.

It was LSU and fricking ND. I was very disappointed, but ended up having a good time the rest of the weekend, minus the actual game.

It's just less sugary Marg and healthier. Tequila has zero carbs, soda water has zero carbs.

About 100 projects have completed since we started the map, so we've isolated those in their own tab. That means the main map now shows only what's under construction and what's in the pipeline.

Even just those two categories pack a punch: There are more than 175 projects on that "All Projects" tab. The ones that are actively under construction represent well more than $8.5 billion of investment. As of the end of November, there are nearly 30 tower cranes around the region, more than Boston, San Francisco or Washington, D.C.

Be careful parking at churches, most will not allow tailgating or alcohol.

If you want amazing Indian food, go to the Taj on Nolensville Pike. Chaatable is good, but expensive for what you are getting.
