Other thread about it yesterday.

Plenty of good info here. What are you in the mood for?

I'm from Louisiana so I eat everything!! Looking at Spicey Chicken for sure and a BBQ place or two. I'll review DDD's and a few other cooking show rec's but would rather eat where the locals eat. Live in Houston, been thru Pasadena but

neverstopped.

If your want to hit up where the locals eat you're a smart man. Overhyped, overcrowded and overpriced is the very definition of lower Broadway. Avoid it like the plague and follow my suggestions in the other thread on here.

Then when everyone is bitching about long waits and meh food come Monday you can laugh at those fools.

We had hot chicken at Pepperfire on the other side of the river and I thought it was fantastic.

Our daughter went to school in Nashville for awhile and we went to visit her often. Our favorite place to go was Party Fowl in Downtown Nashville. They serve the Hot Chicken that seems to be very popular in Nashville but our favorite was the Ranchers Pie. We tried several places all over Nashville but this is the only place we went to every time we visited.

Lockeland Table is one of my favorites.

The Southern is a good brunch spot.

Kayne Prime and Sperry’s for prime steak.

The 2 Costcos in Nashville sell $100 Sperry's gift cards for $80.

Pick up a couple those and get $240 in steak and bananas Foster for $200.

Sperry's also has the best salad bar in middle Tennessee by a mile.

Our plan for Friday is hit up Lockeland Table for happy hour (4-6) before heading to Southern Grist for a few beers. Dinner reservations at 7:30 at Pelican and Pig. Probably end up at Pearl Diver next door

Saturday will probably start at the Local. After the game we’ll try to find some good live music and/or maybe hit up Bearded Iris

Party Fowl for lunch on Thursday and Bella Napoli for dinner on Thursday. Friday and Saturday we will be bar hopping with friends and will just eat on the fly.
