I keep seeing Chauhan Ale on eater lists. Any opinion on that? Looks brand new.

Drink a 5 hour energy. You could be on your way to Nashville.

UPDATE: Think I just heard on the news that Franklin Road is going to be impassable as well due to the constructions on 65/440 interchange.

I recommend scooting over to I-40 if possible. Its never busy on Saturday and only adds maybe 10-15 minutes to the trip from Franklin to downtown.

Hillsboro is an option but if Franklin Rd is also shut down its going to back up between Green Hills and Vandy.

ETA just keep an eye on Waze saturday morning.

Hey Jack, great list for our out of town friends. LSU/Saints fan here in Franklin, TN. We should get together to catch a game on TV sometime. If you’re ever down in Williamson County holler at me.

Any thoughts on Amerigo? Wife booked it based on yelp. Appreciate any input.

for italian amerigo is ok but if i were you i would go to mamma mia's about 10 minutes from downtown off harding/I65.

its byob and the food is incredible so grab a bottle of wine on your way.

very cozy & romantic italian place. i think they're accepting reservations now.

eta i know its a chain but maggiano's right next to vanderbilt is convenient and its a pretty nice setup and the food is good and easy to find parking in the garage behind it.

Austin and Nashville in the same season! What a great time to visit both cities for LSU fans doing road trips.

We had brunch at Cafe Coco on Louise Street. It was ok; quick and easy and near our Airbnb. Now we’ve ventured to Broadway to turn it up a bit. We settled on Jason Aldean’s bar. 2 dudes singing, play guitar and taking requests. We are having a good time. Hippies and Cowboys IPA is excellent.

Ventured to Ole Red for more drinks and music at 2 pm. A duo was singing and they were very good. So much musical talent in this town. Left there at 5 pm to go nap.

Dinner at Bella Napoli was excellent. We shared the pizza special and each had a salad. From there we went to Loser’s Bar and had a blast. Awesome band played mostly country and the place was packed with pretty people.

Amerigo is good, but Maggiano's is better.

Amerigo's is good, I prefer Maggiano's even though it's a chain. I just prefer the atmosphere a little more, and it's very close to Vanderbilt if you're in that area.

For a unique experience try Mangia's weekend feast.

For something upscale and different, try Rolf and Daughters. The squid's ink pasta is great.

Not that there’s normally a shortage of women in Nashville thanks to all of the Bachelorette parties, etc., but there is currently a Rodan + Fields (multilevel marketing skincare company) convention that’s here until Sunday.

I’m driving around downtown right now and the place is crawling. All you single baws should be in for some fun.

My new favorite place in Nashville is Yee Haw Brewing. Its behind the Convention Center and walking distance from Broadway although I'd recommend a scooter. They share a massive outdoor area with Old Smokey Moonshine. Hige bigscreen outside, tons of games, UGA completely took this place over when they were in town. It is HUGE and I think LSU fans will have a great time. I have some family coming up as well and I will be taking them there after we do the frickin ESCAPE ROOM my mom wants to do. Y'all will LOVE this place.

Do you even Sunda or Rock n' Roll Sushi, bro? lol just playing. Both your recommendations are good. These are two more of my favorites. Rock n' Roll Sushi is by Vandy/Belmont. Sunda is in the Gulch.
