LA Jackson is another great rooftop bar over looking the city. Same vibes as L27. The bar is at the top of the Thompson Hotel in the Gulch.

Ive posted this a couple times, but Tin Roof on Demonbreun is having an LSU takeover party. They are blocking off the parking lot in the back, will have food trucks, tv's, and a dj. Tin Roof is basically a better Bogies (and I like Bogies). Tin Roof is my watering hole because I can walk there from where I live.

For italian, I would make the short uber trip to Coco's Italian Market. The farmers market is a nice place to visit for families with the capital building a nearby walk. If you like IPAs, you need to get to Bearded Iris brewery in Germantown.

Coco's is a great spot to hang. It's not my favorite food, but it's a cool building, bocce courts, good wine, etc.

Pucketsat church and fifth is great southern food at a good price. Close to Broadway and Printers alley.

Going to add this to this thread too.

Kickoff should be between 78 & 80 degress and 37% humidity

Just sayin'

Perfect weather; what little humidity is in the air is going to be getting pushed out tonight so its going to be a really beautiful morning.

Driving up from Chattanooga...

Also recommend The Southern Oyster & Steakhouse for dinner. Great atmosphere and food.

If you just have to hit Broadway, The Stage is a decent venue.

Have fun.

Hattie B’s gets the tourist hot chicken love, but go to Prince’s south of town or Pepperfire in east Nashville for the best versions. ML Rose is a solid spot for brunch or a burger later, and there are several around time. Great list man.

Great list, 5 points pizza is legit, what’s a good Indian restaurant walking distance from campus? Nashville is totally underrated when it comes to ethnic cuisine... best I’ve ever experienced.

Will any bars near Vandy be open before the game? Since it’s so early, my buddies andI we’re gonna just bar hop before the game and not deal with setting up a tailgate. Thanks!

There are 3 good ones right near the campus.

Sitar which has the best buffet, Bombay palace and woodlands. All 3 are buffets but while woodlands is delicious it's all vegetarian dishes only.

Bourbon Street Blues Bar
in printers alley is so much fricking fun. People should check that out if they're downtown. Its a non-honkey tonk

My go to spot when I'm in town. I live up on Kentucky Lake and make it down there quite often.

I live near Prince's and it's my favorite but it's not worth the detour over Hattie B's IMO. Either way, call in your order ahead of time. These hot chicken places are insanely busy on weekends.

I’m pretty sure this spot is going to open early at 9 this morning and has LSU ties.
