what is he gonna do when the OL (our weakest part of our team by a longshot, RBs feed off OL so don't try that) can't give him 3 seconds to throw every down which is what it looks like is gonna happen. He is the better QB than Max rn but he's not the best for our team rn. we need the threat of a QB pull on the zone read so we can get our running game going. Myles will get the start opening game but as soon as our OL starts to show weakness we will quickly move to max who can win games in multiple ways

Historically, LSU has done really well with upperclassmen QB's over their younger counterparts.

So nice to have a QB competition amongst top notch QBs.

Myles- 1-2 against three terrible teams in the SEC

Johnson- 2-0 against the SEC East Champ and a bowl eligible (winner) team from the SECW.

If you are about results, Johnson is the clear winner.

You figured all this out watching the spring game because I don't think the coaches have determined that yet? I get it, you want Max Johnson. Just say it.

The fact that this is the title tells me you are more anti-MB than you are pro Max.

Also, TJ looked good for few games and people were saying how he should start over MB. Until he starting throwing Picks.

Why? How do you know what Peetz has planned for a true pocket passer? How do you know Peetz is better suited for a scrambler?

He was top 3 in the SEC every week in getting the ball out. You idiots think he sat in the pocket for 5 or 6 seconds because you have no idea what you’re talking about.

And even if the line doesn’t give much help, the offense is centered around getting he ball out in space. Whether Max or miles wins the job doesn’t matter. Whole lot. We’ll be fine.

Before 2019 everyone on here was saying that our offensive line was our achilles heal. I kept posting that players improve from year to year, and we had a very experienced offensive line coming back. They won the award for best offensive line in the nation.

This year is similar. We have lots of talent and lots of experience coming back. Our oline will be a strength.
