Man, with all the transfers this time of year, had me thinking how much Myles Brennan has been through.. I think this will be his 4th OC, (not positive) regardless the kid has stuck out his commitment and finally earned his turn and went out because of injury. All this to say, I’m happy for the kid and look forward to watching him execute next season.

The best quarterback should win the job, regardless of their situation. If that happens to be Myles, then that’s great

My favorite QB. I think he wins the job.

Max Johnson is 50-1 to win the Heisman, Brennan nowhere to be found. Just something that makes me go hmmm.

Brennan will win the job if he’s healthy cuz he is a better processor and has a better arm than Johnson (not a knock on johnson, he’s a lot younger). If you’re gonna take a tiger you put 10 bucks on Stingley to win like a grand and hope he actually plays a bit offense so he has the narrative going for him of 2 way player even if it’s like 15 catches for 120 yards and a touchdown

Brennan is not a better processor and his pocket presence is significantly worse than Johnson. Brennan is terrible when pressured and on 3rd down. He also can’t evade a rush.

I hope your aren't saying Johnson would have flourished earlier in the year. The line was as bad as I've EVER seen at LSU

Brennan took multiple sacks especially against Mississippi State and Mizzou where he just didn’t get rid of the ball or roll out and throw it away. He even admitted after the State game that he didn’t wanna throw into the tight windows so that’s why he was holding on to the ball so long. His efficiency was bad. His counting stats look good because of the volume. Taking bad sacks, not being able to stay on the field on 3rd down, not being able to extend a play are all major issues especially for a guy that’s now going to be headed into year 5. Max was better at all those things as a true freshman and without the likes of Marshall and Gilbert which Brennan had at his disposal.

I don't know if i agree on better processor

Max johnson looked like he knew that offense as a true freshmen. Def doesnt have brennan's arm but i like max.

Its great to have them competing for the starting job. Makes both players better.

I also think tj has some tools if he doesn't transfer.

I like Max too. Nothing I said is a knock on him. Brennan is at the very least an equal processor with a legitimate NFL arm and elite deep ball (was graded as the top deep ball passer in football according to multiple metrics pre injury).

No team with a statue at QB will ever win against the big boys of the SEC. Brennan makes very bad football plays while Max makes very good football plays.

Brennan's downfall is his processing it takes too long for him to know when to pull the trigger. He should be miles ahead in this area. He does have a nice arm but lacks mobility and when you lack mobility you better know when and where to get the ball out.

I don’t care if Finley or Nuss win it. Just get the best QB to run the offense. The guys they beat out would understand why.

Do folks realize MB is probably the best qb in the conference going into 2021? Top 3 lock. If you disagree, give me 3 better.

It’s crazy people are talking about him not being the guy. Max has a bright future but unless there’s an injury he’s the clear #2.

Good to know we have a very experienced backup if Max were to get hurt.
