After Nussmeier’s first drive where he overthrew the receiver on 3rd down, you can see Kelly yelling at him to “Grow the F up” on his way back to the sideline. Nuss has to be ready if/when the time presents itself. He was not ready Saturday. Although he did look better the 2nd series where the WRs dropped easy catches.

I didn't understand why coach was yelling at him. If the pass is completed its still a good 5 yards short of a first down.

Yea that 8/9 against New Mexico was horrendous. Not saying that means he can hang with Bama but come on.

My son has some friends that are on the team and according to them CBK can get pretty angry behind the scenes.

I mean BK isn't wrong. Nuss definitely displays a ton of immaturity in his body language and his play. It is time for him to grow up if he expects more playing time. BK is itching for someone to take the reins at qb at this point, and no one has shown they can do it.
You have to go with Daniels because of the scrambling ability. there is no other choice until Nuss matures a lot.

Everyone is continuing to ignore the evidence around here. Kid is a RS Freshman whose accuracy was actually quite good on Saturday after being cold for 3 quarters, yet everyone is happy the coach yelled at him after one misfire despite not yelling at the 8/20 for 80 yards QB who played 3 quarters. Makes zero sense.

Come on. Did you watch the game? He absolutely yelled at Daniels when he missed Boutte for an easy TD. He wants JD to take a shot, but he didn’t throw it.
