I mean, I would say special teams isn’t a liability most of the time but there’s not a ton of genius with it.
Adkins kicks ball through end zone. We recruited one of the most highly ranked Kickers because we are LSU and should. Long snapper history has been good.
But returns teams and block/rush team on punt have not been very good especially given our annual level of athletic talent compared to most.
Don’t get me wrong, I like McMahon. But we’ve not used special teams like we should this year in particular. We should be returning more kicks/punts instead of the fair catch strategy. Now we have walkons like Williams back there on return and I just don’t understand why. We need to be maximizing all plays these days

Who knows maybe Barry Odom

As long as he fires that prick Pelini I’m happy.

Urban doesn’t want to compete against Saban and probably doesn’t want the board of regents at UT constantly breathing down his neck. My money is on USC and the pansy arse PAC 12.

well played sir. at least you're giving the minions what they want to hear. Is PGC one of the coordinators or he is considered an assistant in your eyes?

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but anyone who knows how state retirement works, knows how much E didn’t want the OC job (it was no secret), and has watched the defense this year could pretty much make this prediction and be right 100% of the time.

You don't know that. All he needs is a coordinator or 2
in your world.

The title IX violations may save Woodward on this one

Unfortunately, house cleaning has to start at the top. If the guy making the decision is not performing himself, no point in letting him make those decisions. O has repeatedly shown that he can make terrible decisions- hiring Matt Canada, elevating Ensminger and hiring Pellini are just perfect examples of a dude making a selection of people that are less smarter than him.

Show your math on that one

Is pelini still not getting fired all knowing one??
Posted on 12/6/20 at 1:55 pm to Fratigerguy
State retirement is based on the average of your 3 highest paid years. Ensminger would benefit a lot by finishing his contract depending on what portion is paid by the state and what is paid by the TAF. I’d guess the majority is TAF so his pay raise to 1 million might not change much

This is all you need to know. Nobody of any value will be leaving LSU’s staff this year

Gun to my head & id say it’s unlikely

I’m sure this has been asked or addressed but I’m not reading through 19 pages for it. But what should we trust you?

Ensminger will do whatever is in LSU’s best interests. Love that man.

So who will be making the decisions this go round? SW or O? O has proved he can’t pick coaches to save his life.

The question you should be asking is why an insider who is not supposed to be sharing inside business is spilling the beans on a public message board.
