Special teams are ranked 43rd coming into the game. Coverage units are being covered because kicker is putting it out of the endzone.
Special teams rely on scholarship players 65-80, which LSU does not currently have.
McMahon has been good.

Won't matter.
O is THE issue.
He is a position coach that no other school wanted yet he was made head coach at LSU.
I am thankful he caught lightning in a bottle but last year is not indicative of what he will produce year in and year out.

Team is soft and out of shape across the board right now
But every time Tommy Moffitt is on the radio he say “this is the hardest working team he’s been around” “this team is in the best shape” blah blah blah

This is O’s Hail Mary... He fricks this up and he’s gone after next year.
Yeah, okay.

Not supposed to talk about this yet, but frick it... We’re getting 2 new coordinators and atleast 4 position coaches.
Hopefully E just steps down and stays on the offensive staff in some capacity.

An O-line coaching change, or rumors of it, is likely the deciding factor on us getting Leigh.
If its close for hime between OU and LSU, why would he choose this shite show?

For the love of god it’s time for coach O to hire an elite DL coach.
It’s ok to have two!! This is an arms race man. Hire the best fricking staff we can

Look at the Giles situation, with giving him the jersey number, I think he wanted people to think he was so great at player assessment ( with picking up transfers ) and we found out Giles was horrible.
To be fair to Giles, the offense wasn't very favorable for his skillset.

Yes, as is DL coach... McMahon possibly, too but less likely. Linehan and Bo will be fired.
I know this is what everyone wants to hear, but honestly I think it’s bullshite to buy O out of these two shitty hires and let him make two more that we may very well have to buy out as well.
O made these fricking hires so imo he should sink or swim with them next year. Throwing good money after bad money isn’t the answer.
Why bail him out of his own poor decisions to the tune of millions when we’ve already done that with Canada. How many millions have we paid over these last few years for coaches NOT to coach??
Let it play out and judge him and the staff he built after another year to right the ship.
Buying these guys out then potentially having another staff to buy out next year on top of O just keeps digging the hole deeper and makes it even less likely we can move on next year if things still look bad.
Which is exactly what O is counting on.
Save the millions this year to put to O’s buyout next year if he doesn’t fix things in 21.
If E retires that’s one thing but whoever replaces him better have no fricking buyout whatsoever. Get whoever you can or let Linehan take over for better or worse.
Woodward can’t invest anything more than what he already foolishly did.

So Coach Carroll is going to make 6 recommendations instead of 1 this time? Can't wait.

Russ Calloway needs to be elevated ASAP. He will be an offensive coordinator for a P5 program within the next 2 years.

This won’t be popular but the first out the door should be Corey Raymond. I know many think he is gods gift to DBs but I just don’t see it anymore. O should get some new blood.

I heard Andy Reid as OC and Romeo Crenel at DC.

Would firing Linehan mean losing Nuss?
And also, was Brady even Orgeron's idea? We know that Orgeron wanted to run a up tempo spread offense and Emsminger said he should probably bring someone in for that. I would bet that the offensive staff did all the leg work and Orgeron just signed off on it, he gets credit for that hire but it seems out of place for him, considering the other people he's brought in.

That's why it isn't going to happen unless there are some big donors footing the bill.

It would be a good financial move since they are on the hook for Linehan and Ensminger's salaries.
