Mulkey Robbed of SEC Coach of the Year Honors
I don't really care about these types of awards based on voting. Hell, the Heisman often doesn't really go to the best player.

Awards are just outside stuff that's not really important.

Focus on winning games, that's it.

If LSU had SC talent maybe Niki would still be here

I mean they are #1 in the country and have one loss. That's pretty deserving

Not compared to taking a team with 9 wins last year and having them go 25-4 in your first year...

If you watched the girls team last year and this year its pretty clear there probably hasn't been a better coaching job in the country this season

I hate to say it but I’m sure race was factored in here. Staley is quick to use the race card when something doesn’t go her way.

ETA: Race may not have been the overriding factor but either way, KM got robbed. To be projected 8th and finish second with the talent she had is nothing short of amazing. Anyone that says Staley doesn’t throw the race card, though, hasn’t been paying attention.

More reason for Mulkey to beat that arse next time we face SC. Mulkey probably doesn't give a frick but I bet it will drive her to have her team ready to beat them even more now.

They went 30-2 the last 2 years in the SEC

That’s not good enough! Can she run under a 4:40 forty?

Like other awards it would be nice to wait until the season finishes.

The regular season is finished.

You better hope not. If it takes this to give all then there is a problem

This pisses me off but not surprised. That’s all I will say. Congratulations to dawn staley. The train from Baton Rouge is here and Kim is going to remember names while she kicks arse in the SEC.

I doubt race had anything to do with it. SEC has chosen two old white men as COTY in recent years (State HC, now retired, and Blair at A&M.)
