SC coach deserving
She assembled a team loaded with elite players
Kim M. Did a tremendous job

Sign of our times with Heisman going to a team that seems to be in the title hunt

It’s coach of the year, not coach who recruited the best over the last 4 years

I actually saw someone on Twitter say Mulkey doesn’t deserve it because she did it with Fargas’ players. As in the players that won 9 games last year?

More reason for Mulkey to beat that arse next time we face SC. Mulkey probably doesn't give a frick but I bet it will drive her to have her team ready to beat them even more now.
I'd rather beat them in the Big Dance (so to speak) than the Conference Tourney and there's a good chance we see them there first.
If we were to beat them twice you can just go ahead and start carving the Statue...

We all know why she was chosen as COY, it should be no mystery to anyone!

A Win Friday and Saturday will most likely yield a chance on Sunday head to head with USC. I would much rather KM and the staff to have a chip on their shoulder.

The award went to South Carolina's Dawn Staley.

Uh oh......Now they've gone and made Coach Mulkey mad! If there was a way to make that lady more focused and determined, snubbing her for "Coach of the Year" might just do it.

Mulkey's response.

LSU Women's Basketball Kim Mulkey on Coach of the Year awards?

“I’ve got enough of those to collect dust.”

Mulkey says she wants the focus on the team, the team that just pulled off the greatest turnaround in SEC history. #LSU

As I said sign of our times, one could argue the coach that wins the most is the coach of the year.
As with the Heisman many years now goes to the best player on a team that won the most.

I am not arguing against your point and turn around seasons like what Kim M did may very well be more deserving utilizing the talent.
