Mothershed replaces Green at TE

He is 6'-5", hell he will be a nightmare match-up also. Lighter 220 yet not as fast,but still can cause problems. I hear he does very well in practice in the spring and currently. I hope he has a great game.

He can hopefully be what TDG was last season, a matchup nightmare but not much of an in-line blocker.

Only works if he can block as well as Green was blocking. Otherwise you have to replace green by committee.

I assume Mothershed will likely handle a lot of the plays Green had when he was lined up in the slot or wide out to catch passes, but that Grace or Thomas or maybe even Lefleur (at times) will likely handle Greens reps for when he would have lined up as a TE blocker. But yes I agree, Mothershed should get more passing down reps for the height mismatches.

Needs to be a willing blocker to have the kind of impact we need. If we have to use multiple players it will be an easy gameplan for the defense.

yeah as far as blocking not sure he will give us what we want there. we just need to use him as a beast down the seams and mismatches especially red zone fades. use that height. hope he has great hands.

He seems like a good teammate. I saw him constantly trying to get the guys hyped up in the first half

Green wasn’t a nightmare for anymore because we refused to use him where he would be.

Looked to me like Mothershed was the likely intended target, but the ball hit the DL's helmet on the way there instead.

I dont think any QB is going to be looking for an emergency TE option that just came in end of game on a 4th and gotta have it TD play
