Ironic!
Lots of that money came from PI Attorneys.
Suppose the cyst was not caused by big, mean trucking company?

Would really like to know what kind of cyst they diagnosed. These are typically not associated with a painful condition, and more often an incidental finding. Not saying it does not happen, because it certainly does, and really depends on the type and location of the cyst. Just a little unusual, especially supposedly causing pain in the oblique area. Would be hard to miss on CT or MRI.
Has there been anything said about what level of the spine, what type of cyst, etc? I guess it’s not really any of my business, but I’m just curious if it’s been reported.

bullshite. An MRI for another problem I had picked up two cysts on my lower spine.
The fact that he is your star QB, should warrant investigating his condition in more detail.
Agreed…I am not buying that whole story.
They would have investigated on you or I so I can’t believe they would not have found the problem quickly on the projected 1st pick of the draft.

We all watched the games. Nuss could NOT push the ball down field at all. Our entire offense was quick passes and screens.
I agree completely but it amazes me how many posters on here to this day swear that he was not hurt and was just that bad...

I bashed a hole in the drywall at my house when Nuss couldnt’t hit a wide open receiver downfield. So add $36 to the total please.
Many moons ago I launched an iphone into orbit during a bama game. A lot calmer, and more sober than back then.

Not sure exactly where around the spine but I can certainly tell you even a benign cyst near your spine can be incredibly painful. I’m sure there was on and off internal swelling and it pushing on nerves in your spine is painful.
I’m guessing a CT with contrast is what found the cyst? Not sure. Crazy that during that time no CT w/ contrast was done and ZERO folks on the medical staff decided not to look around a little more thorough. I guess it was easy enough to just chalk that up to an oblique strain, which is painful, but you’d think a physician would step in and run more tests. Especially if the guy is experiencing that much discomfort.
A lot of queers on this site cried that Nuss was just soft. Dude has some gigantic balls to play behind the worst offensive line I can ever remember and looking back now, the pain he was experiencing. The funniest, actually saddest thing was we had people thinking the dude forgot how to throw a football and all of the sudden had a weak arm. I’ll admit I was skeptical at was going on during the season and thought he may have had some personal issues he was dealing or just didn’t care anymore. Also, the fact that this was hands down in recent memory the worst group of WRs I’ve seen LSU in the last 3 decades.

Stuff like this is why Louisiana gets laughed at by the rest of the South and the remainder of the Country.

Like I said, cysts in the spine can certainly cause pain, but the vast majority are not pain generators, and are just incidental findings. That’s why I’m curious as to the location and type of cyst. Just curious…….as to what would be causing oblique pain.

So , this cyst all of a sudden appeared in the senior year . Funny timing with the draft coming up . Perhaps draft stock dropped .

Amazing, how much $$ this Nuss cyst cost.
I wonder how much money in booze it cost Kelly when he was drinking himself to sleep every night last season. His nose got 3 shades of red darker in one year
