29-39 for 493 and 8 total TDs. That’s the only real answer.

Fournette 2015 Auburn. Also the hottest game I have ever been to in my life.

I seem to remember a WR for LSU catching 4 TDs in the FIRST HALF of a college playoff game., and also 9 catches - all in one half of playoff football. Only other argument is Burrow in the same game.

I think Derrius Guice against Arkansas in 2016 was amazing. 264 all purpose yards and a couple tuddys. He was an absolute dog in his LSU days

Just as a reminder that all time performances can happen long ago and for teams that were not successful. Todd Kinchen took over and put our Tigers on his back against a much better Ags team. Geaux Tigers.

Cannon, Fournette and Faulk

Dalton Hilliard is in my top 3.
This may surprise some people -- DH is #1 in LSU History and #3 in SEC History in Yards From Scrimmage. Only LSU RB to have over 1000 Career Receiving Yards.

The top 3 in production are Hilliard, Faulk, and Alexander. Top 3 in Yards From Scrimmage, and the only RBs to go over 4000 Rushing Yards.

My top RBs are Faulk, Hilliard, then a tie with Cannon and Fournette. It's hard to really rank Cannon because he played in such a different era, and he was playing so many different roles besides RB.

Carlos Carson caught 6-7 TD passes in a 77-0 wipe out of Rice in 1977.

I remember that game because then Tiger Band Director Nick Rouse (In between Swor and Wickes) got tired of getting up so often to direct the After Touchdown Music after every TD. (Different than what is played currently) ........

Was coming to post this.
I cannot believe it took until pg6 to mention this performance.
The stadium was insane that night.

All are good ones. I would like to include Todd Kinchen v. A & M during the 1990 season.

Timmy Casanova had 2 punt return TD’s when we destroyed Archie and Ole Miss that night oranges rained down on the field. And amazingly, IIRC (I was a preteen) Craig Burns also returned a punt for a TD in the same game. Makes me want to go back and see if BDP was their special teams coach.

That one sticks in my head, Carlos Carson (my first game in the GBFTL) and Cecil flying down the field without a shoe and his sock flopping. What could have been with that dude.

Not a specific player but the 2016 defense vs Louisville in the citrus bowl was fun to watch. Made Lamar Jackson look really bad

Cannon and Fournette were physical freaks among their peers. Fournette was the most physically talented RB I have witnessed in my time watching LSU football which began in 1968. It boggles my mind to think what his numbers would have looked like in a better offense at LSU and if he would have stayed healthy. From what I can tell Cannon was a similar type of freak in that he was almost as big and strong as some linemen and yet the fastest guy on the field. Those are my top two.
Can’t leave off Faulk because of how valuable, productive and versatile he was.
All that being said I did love me some Dalton Hilliard. He was a thrill.
