Joe Burrow against OU in the semis

Josh Reed vs Bama was tops until Boutte beat his single game receiving record vs Ole Miss.

There’s a lot of recency bias in this thread, but Burrow v OU was one for the ages.
And he was pulled with a quarter left, IIRC.

I was fortunate enough to have made every home game in TS and the Bama game that year. I felt like I was watching a NFL QB from the UF game on. By the Bama game I was really confident Joey was going to light it up. He was feeding of the moments every game by then.
I also realized I was watching three NFL WR's too.

Cecil Collins against Auburn, I think it was 1998. I thought we had found the Holy Grail of running backs.

Ramsey Dardar v Bama 1982.

Patrick Peterson - 257 return yards against North Carolina in one half

Josh reed vs bama gets my vote. Dude went arse and titties that game.

Cedric Donaldson vs Florida 97

That was an utterly unreal evening, even for Joe Burrow.

How about CEH v Bama in 2019? Even after Bama starting scoring on every drive Clyde Edwards-Helaire was literally running through walls and scoring, and he and Burrow would not let LSU lose that night.

Mentioned above many others I agree with
Adding Cecil Collins vs Auburn mid 90’s
and Cecil Collins vs women’s cracked open windows everywhere

Lots a great players having great games....how about Honey Badger in opening game that year against Oregon. My recollection is that was pretty insane.

This. #1 vs #4 to start the season and Honey badger put on a clinic

This has to be up there given the times. 200 yards for a receiver in the late 70s was unheard of in college.

Joe vs OU 2019 is clear best

Josh Reed vs. Alabama was incredible. I believe he caught 19 passes and totally destroyed their secondary.

I remember being amazed at how dominant Cecil Collins looked in that Auburn game. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived.
