The 122 overtimes game at TA&M...I never criticize umpires, but whoever those refs were, They should be arrested.

Apart for ‘11 Natty.

Bama homegame in 2012 by far! Screen pass to TJ Yeldon.

We prob win a natty that year if we win that game.

A lot of you are listing games like this that were not depressing like the OP asked.

That aTm game and many others made me angry.

As I stated earlier, the 2012 loss at home to Bama was “depressing”. With all that was in the line and after the year before, that was the very definition of a gut punch.

To me it was the next game in 2012 that was the most depressing game I’ve ever witnessed. Bama at home and we had them beat until TJ Yeldon took that damn screen pass to the house.

This, how OP left this off is absurd.

This loss was fricking horrible, worse than 1/9 to me.

this loss is bad and needs more recognition.

No one really talks about this game.

Im sure 1-9-12 has been mentioned a ton

The bama 2012 loss was tough.

Arkansas 2002 with that horseshite play at the end. Winning 3 SECW in a row (and potentially the conference 3x consecutively) would’ve been sweet

Tulane 1981 (48-7)
Tulane 1982 (31-28)
Florida 1993 (58-3)
Alabama 2002 (31-0)
Alabama 2012 (21-17) (Yeldon combined with 3rd & Chavis combined with the Personal Foul on Copeland that nullified the game winning first down)

I was 10 years old. Ripped my heart out. Then the Orange Bowl ripped it out again.

In addition to all those mentioned, Auburn 2004 stung. Missed XP then bullshite call on Auburn missed XP after final TD was shite.

Any of the losses to the Kyle Macy UK teams.

It was so infuriating, because it seemed like he was there for 8 years or so.

1/9/12 didn't bother me.

But the rest of your list is pretty perfect. I would add Iowa in the 2005 Cap one Bowl and Notre Dame in 2014 Music City Bowl.

1/9/12 was of course an atrocity. It kind of made sense though. Hard to beat an elite team twice, they were more motivated, etc.

The game in ‘12 in Tiger Stadium still actually makes me nauseous to think about. Would have been arguably the most satisfying/heart warming victory in LSU history and we simply gave it away.
