it was quite clear last time both these jobs became available, their fan bases convinced themselves they could cherry pick the next coach outside of a few guys. Then they both realized that wasn’t true and settled for somebody underqualified and who they fired/will fire and be right back in the same position this off-season. And their fanbases still think people will be beating down the AD’s door for the position..

we didn’t even look outside the DL meeting room, how do we know how desirable it was?

Alleva was an inept AD. Will Wade was his Joe Brady.

USC seems like one of those jobs that on paper is great but jn practice isn’t all ita cracked up to be.

Like Texas.

USC, better weather and altogether more desirable location--almost in sight of the Hollywood sign.

Also there's a Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles and a Shakey's Pizza parlor nearby

Whoever takes the USuC job probably wouldn't take ours. Whoever takes our job probably wouldn't take theirs. Completely different and buyout money (for us), new coaches salary, assistant budget is all the same. USuC has piles of available booster money as do we. Hell, Aubbie had Tim Cook drop pocket change to get rid of Gus. There's almost no difference between these levels of schools.

Josh Pate says LSU by far over USC. Called LSU a top 5 job.

Scroll to the 8:15 mark.

You forgot to add mandatory vaccination for schoolchildren and a tyrannical dipshit for a governor. Let’s not forget about the liberal Hollywood elitist. F that place.

His former boss is the current AD at USC. He's the leading candidate for the job.

If your name is Urban Meyer and you want to grind on college chicks then usc.

LSU definitely takes the chips on this one. USC is a joke of a program now.
Number 1 recruiting.

Kids from southern Cal that want to play in the Pac-12 are going to schools that USC should trump. Schools in the pac 12 (and not good ones, trust me) are walking into USCs backyard taking all their recruits like it’s a cakewalk.

LSU not only has some great recruits on its roster, there are guys committed here solely because of the LSU pride in Louisiana, and it’s coach would hardly affect their decision.
I watch Utah play USC every year and it’s just sad to see where their program has gone. Having both of my parents go to Utah I love seeing that be a good game every year. But the Pac 12 sucks now soley because the power house in the Pac 12 south, USC is no longer.

USC is a train Wreck. LSU is just some BAW that ran into a light pole and just needs a new face and pumper. Any half decent coach weighing these options out could definitely see if being offered these two jobs, that LSU would take 1/100th the rebuild to be a powerhouse. And they would get credit for doing it.

USC leads LSU and most every program in every category from All time wins, NC, bowl games, All Americans, to Conference champs.

Consider weather, access to recruits, it’s a private institution…….I’d say USC is at the very top.

USC. He won’t have to contend with Rantards at USC.

They were calling for Helton's head within his first year.

It's easier at LSU. People for some reason don't realize that LSU is by far a top 3 designation. It's a sleeping giant and just needs a decent coach.
