We all miss him after an A&M loss. Les was 5-0 vs the Aggies.

Followed by an inevitable loss to Bama and then either losing to/narrowly escaping mediocre arse Arkansas teams to end the season. Miles had some great teams here and brought us a lot of fun seasons, but the revisionist history here is ridiculous.

Not one bit. Watching his trash offenses and his stubbornness were maddening. I'll gladly take our recent QB play over his QB's that could barely complete a forward pass.
I enjoy us having good offenses and attracting top QB talent having 2 Heisman winners in the last 5 years at the position. Underwood is a generational type talent at QB and the type of player we would've had zero chance of getting during the Miles era.

Dude no you’re not
We all hated it. 1/9/12. 21-0. I was there. A lot of us were. That’s why we hated it.
The Les years were successful but downright horrible to watch sometimes.
Grass is always greener… I’ll take what we’re doing now over back then. It’s not like we were winning natties other than 2007.

Les was a retard but he actually did as good if not better then Kelly

Joe Burrow would never have come to LSU if Les Miles was the HC.

Miles made a ton of money and spent zero time on a game plan. The opposing team’s coach could call him and say they would be putting 11 in the box this Saturday, and Miles would say “hell, we’re going to impose our will and run anyway”.

Les had a great record but his offenses were horrible and one dimensional.
His defenses were superb.
But it was just a tough team that ran the ball down your throat, boring as shite and lost 21-0 and never crossed the 50

I will play! I miss the Saban era

Les Miles coaches at LSU for 12 years.
Every season except 1 he had 2 or more losses, despite inheriting a stacked program riding high. In 12 years, he won the SEC just twice.
Losses each year: 2, 2, 2, 5, 4, 2, 1, 3, 3, 5, 3, 2
Kelly walked into a disaster of a program in both talent and culture.
Kelly: 4, 3, 2 (so far)
We can’t know yet what Kelly’s tenure will bring.

The game is different today. You can’t coach offense the way Miles did and win titles today. The game evolved in the early 2010s and he didn’t. That’s why he got fired.

same shite happened when Les was coaching.
Not always, but by the back half of his career yes. LSU fans have never recovered from 1/9/12. Ever since then they're having less fun, negativity has skyrocketed. You would think 2019 would've cured people but it started right back up as soon as that season was over.

I like giving Jimbo contracts to coaches from schools that mostly play service academies and private schools and having them come to LSU to watch them turn LSU into a giant cluster that isn’t good at any phase of the game, and go 3-7 vs ranked teams across two and a half seasons. One of the aforementioned two and a half seasons with LSU having a Heisman quality QB and first round receiver.
“Well who you gonna git!? Brian Kelly was the best choice at the time!!”
** Give any coach with a team ranked in the top 50 right now half the money you paid Brian Kelly and I promise he will do at least 3-7 vs ranked teams here at LSU. You’ll get the same results, same amount of hardware, same record or better, and you won’t have given a Jimbo contract to a guy that has no business coaching in the SEC.

I don't miss his stubbornness and refusal to change the offense.

Member when he couldn’t get a qb, throw for more than 150 yards, the 5 starting linemen were all guards, and he refused to change so the toss dive was the only play in the playbook.

we currently have the 111th ranked rushing offense in the Nation.
we're every bit as one dimensional now as we were then. It's just the opposite dimension.
