We have Blue who's coming off injury and Hilliard who runs like a woman and Magee who never gets any carries.

Please read my entire post. I never said we would be as good without Hill. And Hill is by far our best RB.

And i completely agree. Blue is a stud, but hasnt gone through the grind of the SEC schedule. Hilliard is our biggest RB, but shys away from contact instead of delivering it and always gets caught from behind in the open field. Magee hasnt had that much work, but I think he will surprise people this season. Been here a while, and fits into what Cam likes to do on offense.

If Hill is suspended or booted, we only have 3 RBs on the roster. 1 is injury prone, 1 isnt physical, and the other hasnt gotten much work. For the first time in a while, we would indeed be thin. But, those guys are capable of being good RBs. Not great like Hill was, but good enough.

Hilliard looks pretty trim compared to last year. He needed to drop that weight.

the difference between 240 and 230, as far as power goes, is not a big deal

but that 10lbs can do wonders for his movement ability.

Even at 220-225 he could still be an effective power back, but much more nimble. I never understood the bloating of our RBs under Les Miles

2 things that will piss me off next year is

1-Kwon not staring at LB 2-Brazil not getting some touches on offense or returns

Are going to blame Miles for that like everything else.

If Jon chavis likes someome else starting, then u just have to deal with it.

If Brazil gets zero touches, prob not gonna happen, youll just have to deal with it.

The coaches are trying to win, not play fan favorites.

He was a let down for sure. Some folks said he got distracted with his newborn twins a bit last season, whatever the case, hopefully he can focus and return to freshman form this season.

Ware was kind of just okay not good throughout his career here. Always had the case of those damn 0-2 yard gains he did way too much because he LOOKED for contact.

You guys that think losing Hill is no big deal must be high on meth and have not slept in days! YOURE CRAZY! Hes definitely our best back and it would hurt, but I think he will be OK. Its a freaking misdemeanor and its all up to his probation officer what type of punishment he received. I honestly think his probation gets revoked, but even then its not that big of a deal. He can turn himself in and bond out the next day and continue his probation. Typically, the first time an individual gets into some sort of trouble on probation, if its not a serious offense, he should be OK with the law!

I agree. We will be fine at the RB position.

JJ wasn't on the team, but I still think it is his fault too.

Whoa, didn't know that. Were they born during, or right before, the season? That would be hell to balance with football and school.

I doubt he will let us down. He had 6 TDs in the first 3 games last season. But he was competing with Ware, Ford, and Magee (and occasionally Shep)for touches, then Hill emerged as a stud in the second half of the season. I assumed it was too many RBs, not enough touches to go around, as opposed to Hilliard regressing

McGee is unproven. If he was that good he wouldn't have been moved to WR last year.

I'm gonna spin this a little differently: Magee is so good that the coaches were looking for a way to get him on the field. Wouldn't bother me a bit if Magee became our feature back.

Without Hill at RB, we should be ok but there will probably become a time/situation in '13 where we realize we could really use #33 right now.

and yet all they could come up with was that predictable jump pass vs uf.

Put that crack pipe down! Hill was the leading rusher last year and has the most talent on the team. Blue if healthy should be pretty good too. JH33 is the best RB LSU has had since Faulk - that does not excuse his stupidity however.

Not having hill hurts big time. Hopefully this stuff gets ironed out in time for the season. If he wouldn't be on probation already I would say there is a 99% chance he's our starter vs tcu

Brazil has already been told by Cam that he's going to see reps as RB...jmho is that his role will be expanded as needed and earned...I have big expectations for him....but Hill would help big time as the year develops...
