He won't be missed... Its really starting to show just how bad Les Miles misused talent

And Saban wanted Vince Young to play receiver at LSU

Pretty sure Nick wanted Brandon Jacobs to play DE/LB, not Les

...Amen to that!
Because all of those consecutive losing seasons really suck.
Amirite?
All of those years without bowl games still hurt.

No conference or national championships make you sad.

You are correct, not once but twice. Out of HS and out of JUCO.

I think the Make-a-Wish kids have physical or health problems.
Miles is the guy who when the LSU team came out of the tunnel ran to the wrong sideline with the other teams standing there. His problem was mental.

Explains why it seemed he didn’t want to come here for a good part of his recruitment
Posted on 10/10/19 at 1:02 pm to Lsuhoohoo
To be fair he would probably be a really solid DB
This isn't like one of those Dak Prescott at FB type of things

He wasn’t coming to LSU to play defense lol. The op should be enough evidence, but He maintained that throughout. Mickey Joseph & O killed Chase’s recruitment
Ok man

It's one thing if a guy is open to making the change. Its another if he's totally opposed to it to the point that the idea runs him off.

They don't want to see that, or the fact that Miles told him they would move forward with evaluating him as a wide receiver.
They just want "Miles is stupid". We should let them have it.

If Chase committed to it he probably would have been a great DB so I don’t see the problem. They decided to move Mo Claiborne to db and that worked out.
For a program that struggles mightily to throw the ball, id say it would have been a huge mistake to not have this guy catching passes on offense.
I think it’s wonderful when guys switch to defense and excel. Look at White.
It would have been horrible to move Chase.

While there are some positions that ABILITY may dictate switching
It has never made any sense to take a kid who has up to 4 years of experience playing a position and have him start all over again learning something else.
Take the experience and coach him up is easier than starting over and does not waste time.

True, but Les Miles wanting to make a WR who's now most likely a 1st round draft pick, a DB when when Les' offenses were absolutely miserable is laughable...Les Miles sucked at being our head coach and he'll continue to suck at Kansas.

He asked him once to try out defensive back and when Chase made it clear he didn't like it Miles and the staff let it go.
