Never heard of an employee announcing his own termination.

I thank him for his time here and wish him well. Hopefully he's still around the campus and involved with LSU.

I kinda wish he exited the program in a better way to be honest. I think he deserved that much...

Yep - I have mixed emotions. I really wish he could have fixed his offensives deficiencies and coached another 15 years here.

Don't know if we will ever have another man of his character in the top spot.

Gonna miss the hat. . . .

He should know whether or not this is his last game! If you want to fire him and bring in Jimbo, fine. But have the balls to tell him.

Aleva knows, Miles knows and now the TEAM knows.......

It is done.

Sucks if true. The damn negatigers are going to regret running him off. He's a quality coach and an even better human being.

This makes me very sad. I've been a big critic of his but now that it seems to be really happening I'm very sad about this . Deep down I had hoped we could keep him somehow.

I doubt it, you have to have some semblance of a clue to feel regret.

Les is the greatest guy ever but enough is enough. .500 SEC play, 2-4 in bowls lately and............

In 11 years he has not recruited and developed ONE serviceable QB. His early QBs were Saban era recruits and Mett was a transfer.

In over a decade he hasn't produced one serviceable QB on his own.

Love him as a person and it hurts but he gots to go.

I wish he could have had a better exit too...

But maybe had he not been so damn stubborn we aren't having this conversation

Why hasn't anybody laid the blame for all this on the damn players? Let's face it, if we were still undefeated and #2 you think Les would be fired? The players lost those 3 games. Effort was nonexistent. They at least deserve a part of the blame here.

Why were the contradicting articles taken out of the OP? Several outlets say this is BS.
