After the play he made with Tre against WF he can do whatever he wants.

You can say this about anyone on the team. Nobody knows what goes on inside.

This doesn’t really help your argument

Which means……basically a defensive replacement

Nothing you said changed anything about what OP said lol

Even with limited PT because of all the talent and depth, he's one of the veteran leaders in the dugout amongst a lot of youth and new faces. He provides intangibles, regardless.

It’s mind boggling at this point. From all accounts he’s a good dude and is a solid, experienced backup, but people want to build him into something he isn’t while downplaying a legitimate first round talent at the same position.

I think he’s even regressed defensively. The better the pitchers have gotten under Johnson, the worse he looks trying to catch the ball.

Definitely still an elite catch & throw guy but so is Neal & Travinski is very good too

LE, is this you?
LE has never seen a Milazzo thread that he couldn't help himself. Case in point.

Did you think he was going to bat .450 this year? He’s also our best defensive catcher

Brady has a much higher upside. As long as he keeps progressing he will pass Alex up quickly. That’s probably Coach Jay’s plan anyway. Totally fine. Milazzo is invaluable as a leader.

Dude broke his leg at the plate hustling his arse off in Omaha last year. He also put a hell of a tag on the guy at the plate on that squeeze play. I'm happy to have Brady Neal's bat too but why shite on Milazzo?

Hello Mr. Neal. Glad to see your son is having a great game at the plate.

He doesn’t have Neal’s power but he was a better hitter in conference than Neal was.

It’s a good problem to have.

You and Lester ate crow and crow shite last year so keep it going.

Before last year it was “If Milazzo hits >.200 he is good enough because of the talent. Then he hit nearly .300 and LSU won every game at Omaha he started. He had valuable AB’s and did more than some “regular” starters. You DO NOT NEED TO HIT FOR POWER TO CONTRIBUTE.

Do you really want to open this up again? Didn’t you learn after last season?

Did you know Nolan Ryan threw a 108 mph fastball on his very last pitch at 46yo?
