Three Cubs were born at the Milwaukee Zoo last night.
The Columbus Zoo has cubs pretty much every year, there is a litter of 3 that are probably 6 months old now. It'd be great if one made its way to Baton Rouge.

Most exotic animals that are obtained through legitimate means (like a zoo) are either rescues or they trade for them. I'm not sure how LSU handles it since they can't trade, but I'd think it would be on the up and up.

I hate to hear this. We are very lucky to have one of the best mascots of all.

Condolences to the LSU fan base from a Bama fan. Mike Is a beautiful animal and a fitting icon for a great program and respected rival.

We went to see him between dinner and the Elton John concert. Was taking a nap ... Rolled over a time or two. Looked quite the happy kitty lying on his back with one leg on the ground and one in the air. Wish I could post pics but it never comes out!

This Mike was so awesome. He was very playful and there are a lot of great videos out there from fans. I remember there was one guy that went out there all the time and Mike knew who he was and would sneak up on him.

He was awesome and will be sorely missed.

My son and I took his 11 yo son to the game Saturday. We wanted to show off Mike to him and see him for the last time. We didn't get to see him.
Truly sad.
I loved it a few years ago when a woman walked up to the glass with a little dog and he came over and stared at the dog like "oh boy, an appetizer!"

I cannot even look at this. The thought of that tumor growing and pressing on him makes me sick to my stomach for him.

I don't know about yall but it has just put a very sad cloud over me and I can't get Mike out of my mind. Thought it about him all last night and just kept looking at great pictures of him.

This is sad. Mike represented LSU to all ages beyond our fan base. We are blessed to have a Tiger as our mascot in a first class habitat. Thank you Mike(Roscoe) for your service as our tiger mascot! You were the best!

This is sad. Sorry guys. Hope after the grieving you can bring in a replacement.

No competing Tiger fans would deny that your live tiger is fricking cool as shite.

Whenever I came home I'd do two things right off the bat. Get myself an Oyster Poboy and go see Mike. Not always in that order.
Family and friends had to wait their turn.
Wishing I'd made one more trip right now.
Go easy big Mike!
