Harrison Ford

Anthony Hopkins
age: 78

Notable Films: Red Dragon (lead*), The Elephant Man (supporting), All The Kings Men (supporting), Hannibal (lead*)
*while billed as the lead actor in the Hannibal Lector trilogy he has an unusual amount of screen time including only 17.5 minutes of screen presence in The Silence of The Lambs for which he won his leading role Oscar.
Which one do you think is the better actor?

It's just a neat match up for a late Friday night game. Might be fun to watch. States 5 Star big Jeffrey Simmons is back. And doesn't BYU run a triple option or wishbone or something?

This game won't be over until after midnight for all us. At least there is a good Friday late night matchup on. Mullen knows his seat is getting a little warm and BYU has a scrappy team.
Who ya got?
BYU - 41
State - 34

Vince Vaughn receiving Oscar buzz for a dramatic turn certainly has my interest.

1) Jack Nicholson ~ Easy Rider (1969)
2) Val Kilmer ~ Tombstone (1993)

re: What do you mean when you say "Next Friday"?
Posted by RegisteredPharmacist on 10/10/16 at 1:21 am to tjohn deaux
"Next Friday" is a proper term to be used from Thursday thru Saturday for the following weeks Friday. "This Friday" is to be used Sunday thru Wednesday for the upcoming Friday.
You can check the weekly terms on Google or Yahoo search among others.
Not giving u the "Let me google that for you" but just helping you out on what's correct.

re: FSU (20) vs. Miami (19) - 7 in a row!

2 questions:
-How is Miami's grass so bright green? Switching from the Arkansas game to this one I am just amazed at how bright green their grass is.
-How do you pernounce the Miami coaches last name?
(Someone please give me solid answers so I don't have to make a whole thread asking these questions)

Should be a mandatory rule to put the date of the movie you're talking about in the thread title. Movies have been around for over 120 years now and the names of them have ran out so almost every new movie is the name of a previous movie.

Yeah. Pretty much... That's a good comparison but Ernest > Madea.
John Grisham's 'The Gingerbread Man' starring...

Robert Downey Jr. (2 time Oscar Nominee)
Robert Duvall (7 time Oscar Nominee)
Kenneth Branagha (5 time Oscar Nominee)
Tom Berenger (Oscar Nominee)
Daryl Hannah
Embeth Davitz
Louisiana accents can be pretty bad in film but I gotta give Downey Jr. some well deserved credit for bringing that Deep South Louisiana accent to the screen with accuracy.
Duvall in a terrifying turn as the pyscotic mental patient of course was excellent.
I love John Grisham's Deep South legal thrillers and this is just one that doesn't get enough credit. Did any other Grisham fans besides me really enjoy this one?

re: Chris Farley vs John Candy
Posted by RegisteredPharmacist on 10/7/16 at 9:10 pm to DoUrden
In Oliver Stone's epic JFK (1991) Candy took a swing at his first dramatic act in a major motion picture and knocked it out of the park. I just can't see Farley taking a serious role like that so I'm going with Candy.

Mississippi State & Auburn getting a nationally televised matchup on ESPN in the weekend game opener is huge for them.
re: Denial (2016) 'about the Holocaust being fake'
Posted by RegisteredPharmacist on 10/7/16 at 11:45 am to REG861
Ummmmm... First of all David Duke is a Doctor. You can look it up if you don't believe me. It's the non-medical type of Doctor but still a doctor and that's a fact so I'm not sure what's so funny about a FACT..
Secondly, just because someone doesn't follow all the sheep in their believes doesn't mean their "trolling." I've already stated twice that I'm not a denier of the holocaust I just know that there are some very interesting things that involve shaky evidence to support it. That is ALL I said.

I'm certainly not a holocaust denier but I like things that challenge my beliefs and if you read some of the things about how the holocaust was possibly fake then you'll realize that there is some interesting stuff out there. Dr. David Duke does some interesting interviews explaining how it's possibly fake as well.
Looking forward to this film.

Based on the true story...
Rachel Weisz (Oscar Winner)
Tom Wilkinson (Nominated for multiple Oscars)
Timothy Spall
There has never been a single document that proves the Holocaust happened. (This statement is from the trailer) I saw the trailer for it at the theater when I went to see The Hollars and it looks VERY interesting. I would keep an eye out for it this fall.

I'm well aware that they played Missouri. This has NOTHING to do with the Mizzou game. Louisiana State never played up to their potential with Miles. NEVER. Now that the problem that was keeping them from being as dominant as they could have been is gone - they will be just as good as Bama on a yearly basis.
Like I said, LSU is back folks.
