“It can get crazy for a young guy whenever you first get into college, but from what I’ve seen he’s looking like a veteran, at least from the way he handles himself off the field,” began Jones. “I’ve had some meetings with Coach [Matt] House, sometimes it’s just me in there, and I’ve noticed sometimes he’ll be in there too. I’m like okay. He’s getting it. And it took me awhile to realize the importance of the mental side of defense, and playing in college.
“Of course, freaky athletic. Can run well. Change of direction is great, and he works his tail off too. Super excited for him, and he’s going to be a great player for sure.”

Man this kid seems to be the polar opposite of my initial impression. He did an interview(All-Star game?) that really made him look bad imo. He seemed very arrogant and like a guy who was all about "me". From everything I've read, he's nothing at all like that. Good for him...good for us! If he keeps this kind of work ethic he's going to be a very rich"er" young man in a few years!

He is going to have a big season. The overall DEF was better when he was on the field the last 1/3 of the schedule.

I was disappointed that Jones wasn't a day one starter. Really makes me wonder what they staff was thinking.
