Michael Brooks, Brady James, Devin White - Top 3 LBs the last 40 yrs.?

Hill was awesome, not sure if he’s a level above James or not but maybe we have a Mt. Rushmore rather than a top 3.

Brooks is top three. Hands down. Absolute freak athlete who was a game wrecker extraordinaire!

What about AJ Duhe?

Richardson was a tackling machine, which is why he owns the record. He would be top 3.
Then there’s Michael Brooks who may have been the best I’ve ever seen play that position in college.
Devin White - great season.

Eric Hill was a monster - played 11 years in the NFL.

I’ll agree with those on Michael Brooks as the best at LSU. Devin, then Eric Hill.

Eric Hill was one of the hardest hitting LB’s I’ve ever seen. Dude had 19 tackles for the cardinals in one game.

You picked a random timeframe so you would intentionally leave off the best tacking LB in program history.
Eric Hill would wipe Devin White off the planet in a brawl. He was the baddest player on that squad that included Brooks as a senior and his sophomore season.
He in fact last longer than Brooks and had a better career with pro bowls and all pro seasons. In fact, unlike White, he never let up from college to pros.
