Went on their board a little while ago to see what the chatter was all about, and they can’t get over how we called the middle of their defense “questionable” and their skill players “pedestrian.”

Apparently, our fan base believes Willis is their best d-lineman and homer is their best skill player.

I believe that they will have a strong defense, but they haven’t played anyone as physical as we will be in quite a while. I love how people are underestimating our “new” receivers. They will get to meet the Giles/Jefferson/Marshall/Chase and CEH coming out party, and see the wrath that DW-40, Phillips, and Chaisson will unleash on them soon enough.

Season can’t get here soon enough!

It’s a message board man. They are supposed to be delusionally optimistic about their team. See 90% of Tiger Rant threads.

I believe Clemson plays pretty physical ball albeit those orange Tigers stomped a mud hole in them. We will have our hands full.

Their defense will control our offense. LSU fans won’t like it but that’s realistic. We don’t have a great offense yet. Without a run game it’s gonna be hard to get going. But our defense is going to destroy them and turnovers will give way to a game of field position and field goals.

Our o lineman are much bigger then their def lineman. Like 40 pounds on average. If they do not stack the box, i will be pissed if we can not run right at them. If they do stack the box....... this is supposedly why we have burrow. Not saying we should steamroll them or anything, but just looking strictly at matchups we SHOULD be ok.

Miami was ranked 38th in total defense last year.

LSU was 13th

Fricking Troy was 24th. Miami is overrated as frick. I’m willing to bet they end the year unranked.

LSU was ahead in “total defense” however Miami’s offense wasn’t built on long drives. So of course their defense was on the field more. So a better look would be yards per play. LSU gave up 5.07 yards per play while Miami gave up 4.77. Miami also lead the nation in sacks, turnovers, and top 5 in TFL.

So basically these guys are admitted that they have an average OL and DTs. Where is the games usually won in these games? LOS.

Our defense will be very tough for these guys to move the ball consistently. Yes Burrow is new to this offense but it's a very familiar type of offense. He makes great decisions and from what I've seen, doesn't get raddled easily.

They also admit to having an inconsistent FG kicker which might decide this game. Both teams are talented so it's going to come down to who wants this game more. I'm hoping LSU has more solid leadership across the team and Miami not so much and falls apart.

I love how everyone talks about how physical we will be, yet our OL is in shambles and we have no RB. I wish people around here could talk about things reasonably.

FSU and Clemson are both much better teams than LSU. They played AND HUMILIATED Notre Dame last year...LSU lost to Notre Dame.

Why do LSU fans think we are the best? This is a new regime and a new era. We have yet to prove we are the toughest and most physical team.
