Just to clarify: Do you wish there was a whole lot less to the story?

Oh my geez... Holy Horse Doobers!!!!

No, No, No! Please people quit!!! There is no more to the story.... The dude can't play in the SEC, Butler JC yes, but this isn't JuCo, and Dorothy aint in Kansas anymore! Give it up, suck it up, and move on.
We can recruit damn good QB's we just can't develop them once they get here.
Remember, once there was time we used to recruit the top place kickers in the state and nation, they would get to LSU and could NOT kick their way out of a wet paper sack.
Now, the Voodoo is on our QB.

RR, that's be best you got. Throw some of your football knowledge on me big boy. I am running u around like a puppy dog chasing his tail. If you have any backbone, try and disprove any of post about X's and O's. Since you say I do not know what I am talking about, call me out. You don't have the Football IQ to do it. Come up with something better than "what nationally ranked team have you led.... Or you don't know what you are talking about". Prove I don't. The people that have a football IQ and are objective enough to step away and understand what I am talking about. You people think Les Miles' record is what makes him a great coach... HOWEVER when you have better talent than 95% of the other teams in college football you should be 82-19 IF not better. That means that in every one of Miles games (especially recently), before the ball is kicked off, he is leading on talent alone. Prove me wrong? Being a Rummel Raider, you are used to watching paint dry and no football championships

lol...

It's good to see that you've used your high school playing days and Madden to make you a great armchair QB.

But, as far as the situation that goes on behind the scenes at LSU...you have no clue.

And I will readily admit that I don't know near as much ad you apparently do, but I think when you come in here pontificating about all the things that you know, then you should be able to tell us how you've come about such knowledge.

If some guy was going on about the law on the OT, then we'd expect him to have a background in it, and then we'd maybe listen to the guy more in the future. If he got his info by watching Law and Order reruns, then he could take a hike.

So, I will ask more politely... why should we trust YOUR evaluations?

Why do small minded people like yourself always come back to "82-19" - who gives a crap? That is 82-19 by backing into a NCG with 2 losses and getting humiliated in another NCG.

Miles is a good coach, don't get me wrong, but don't keep playing him up like he's Jesus incarnate as there are VAST improvements to be made. But feel free to hang onto your HS football days as I'm sure those glory days for you are unforgettable.

Oh...and

Miles is so in denial he actually criticized a Senior in high school for not coming to LSU.... Miles reason "he doesn't have the chest to lead the Tigers".......Les, is this the reason or is it that he saw how you handled a previous QB situation. Or is it because he sees how "elementary and non existent" your passing game is.

You betchum, Red Ryder. Great post.

Since LSU has more talent, talent recruited by CLM, than 95% of the rest of college football, that means that almost literally any college coach in the country could/would have the second highest winning percentage in college football, only 2 percentage points behind UM. IF CLM "backed" into one NCG, then you have to be fair and say Nicky lucked into one. He only got his mulligan game after the football gods jumped on Ok. St. Much like they did to West Vir. And am just curious: how do you know, factually, that we have such a high percentage of talent over the large majority of college teams???

Well, then why would the kid even commit in the first place?

Les was wrong for saying what he did, but if the kid knew that his development would be hindered and that he'd be running an idiot offense, then why commit?

We didn't back into anything, we were clearly the most deserving team to face Ohio State.

How do you determine that Miles has the better talent? Since your holding RR's feet to the fire, tell us how X's & O's, beyond a doubt, conclude that CLM has better talent.
Having that great talent pool would make him a great recruiter, or am I missing that also?

Regarding the commitment. Great point but I think Les' stubbornness went to a new high in the BCS championship game due to media attention criticism..and at the same time you have the other coach in his ear saying whatever he might be saying. (My opinion)...I think the committing, decomiting crap is ridicilious. What does that teach your kids? Btw, before LSU I think the kid committed to Indiana maybe. That's way out of control...the whole under armour, reveal the hat stuff
