If you give a crap about LSU and their players why is this even a thread??? And to talk about what he was or was not at LSU... He has a NFL contract now and does get playing time, so he must be doing something right! Some of these arguments are absolutely ridiculous. If you are honestly a true LSU fan you should NOT spend your time talking trash about current or former players. I don't understand this logic.

I read one article that stated Cam Cameron called EVERY NFL team in the league, and the ones most interested in LC more than once.

I knew some of you could not resist talking about JJ and his football skills or lack there of... I did not go there!!! I just want to know where all the TD posters are that were so awesome during that fiasco.

Fact remains the same... NO other name has been mentioned to the media!!!! Surely, BRPD have gotten in contact with everyone else they want to speak to or they are in process of doing so at this time.
However, I don't see a scrolling message at the bottom of my television with names of people staring please contact BRPD at your earliest convince, we want to speak with you.
Who are the others? Why was his name the ONLY one "leaked"? It makes no sense! One has to believe his name was leaked by BRPD.
And like Jordan Jefferson or NOT; that kid got a royal screwing by BRPD, and yes there was some major grandstanding the entire time during that debacle!

This is the same police department that charged Jordan Jefferson with a felony for a fight in a parking lot of a bar; in which they seized 49 pair of his shoes for evidence, including the ones he had on the day of the "search & seize"! 49 pair!!! And after all were "tested" for evidence none were presented to the Grand Jury!!! Oh speaking of the Grand Jury, they said not enough evidence for a felony charge of battery. And this dragged on for how long, before he could return to the normalicy of his life? (If innocent, La'el does NOT have the luxury of time on his side.) I'm just saying!!!
There is so much sepulation... I have read articles that have stated the baby is girl, other articles state a boy, some state she was 7 months pregnant, others state 8 months.
My thoughts are if he had nothing to do with it; the timing is very unfortunate for him. And I have faith things happen for a reason & God has a plan for him.
If he is involved, geez, why??? He was about to be drafted in the first round. It is not uncommon for players to have babies out of wedlock. Pay child support, raise your child be there as a dad, & continue life.
No matter what, a life was taken! A mother taken from her kids, a daughter taken from her parents, a sister taken from her siblings, a relative taken from her loved ones, and a friend taken from ones who loved her & this is horrible! While people debate semantics on this message board a family grieves for a loved one. May The Lord watch over the family mourning the loss of the loved one & also watch over La'el Collins and his family because either way this goes they too will need your comfort, peace, & guidance.

Gladewater also used him as a FB & not just in the jumbo pkg! The dude is a beast!!!! He went both ways the night we played them & was still going strong at the end of the game. When he carried the ball, he was unstoppable; just carried kids draped on him.

We can recruit damn good QB's we just can't develop them once they get here.
Remember, once there was time we used to recruit the top place kickers in the state and nation, they would get to LSU and could NOT kick their way out of a wet paper sack.

I worked in the recruiting office for Coach Nader many moons ago. I also had cousin who recently graduated from LSU, who also worked in the football office. She worked for three different coaches before graduating... Monken, Peev, then Chavis.
Both of us are from Texas, and attended the game Saturday with PSA's (Prospective Student Athlete or Recruit), both of us wore our Purple & Gold, while the recruits did have on A&M attire or neutral clothing. Everyone we came into contact with were very nice to us, from the recruiting department, to the fans in stands, to the NFL players on the sidelines, to A&M players & Coaches after the game.
Basically, I have no gripes. We had a great time & LSU won. Even in the stands surrounded by all their fans when LSU pulled ahead and we went crazy, nothing, they just laughed.
My only complaint was I got so tired of hearing the QB called by his first name!!!! Not really a true complaint!!!

As a senior, the 6-1, 179-pound Shepard rushed for 1,946 yards and 28 touchdowns and threw for 1,843 yards and 20 touchdowns. Shepard also led Cy-Ridge to a 17-5A district championship in 2007. What is the size of Texas? What is the size of Georgia? RS was rated #1 QB in the nation by both Rivals & Scouts coming out of high school and the #3 Athlete. Not only did RS throw for 1800+ yards, he rushed for 1900+ yards. So don't say the guy can't play football; just call it for what it is... The coaching staff has not utilized him to his maximum ability!!! A complete and utter waste of God given talent for whatever reason.

For those of you who were so pissed when Miles played JJ in front of Lee. Same concept, who the hell knows why he does some of things he does. Because he is the head coach, because he can... Most likely so! But don't say RS isn't a good ball player because crazy les doesn't play him!!!! Assinign and Bu11shit!!!
