Well, that was a really short season. See you next year, guys.

What did we win? I think I slept through it

We need more. A Heisman win will give us tremendous national attention. JFF has too many off field issues. This is our year to get it.

His season will be the reason. Not this thread.

It's about PR. LSU's public relations department needs to get going to get us the national attention.

Good luck. LSU hasn't given a shite about promoting a Heisman candidate since Hodson.

He keeps performing at this level and he'll be in New York.

JFF continues to have excessive scoring celebrations. This will hurt him with voters who are looking for classyness.

oh well that's good now Mettenberger only has to be better than 8 other QB's instead of 9 to even be considered to win the heisman.

I don't put much into the Heisman race; however, in terms of value to the pros, you have got to think Mett has NFL scouts salivating over his arm strength, size and this year, accuracy and leadership. His true value will be measured by where he gets drafted. I trust NFL scouts more than a bunch of TV talk show hosts, or newspaper writers.

I keep seeing "OBJ for Heisman" and now Mettenberger for Heisman. We haven't even played an SEC opponent yet.

Let's say Zach plays well against Auburn and lights up Georgia in two weeks. Maybe, LSU should start to roll out a campaign.

I think obj js the best shot with what he can do on special teams but he is going to have to take over a big game or two for his Heisman moment. There's apparently already a facebook page for Odell Beckham Jr for Heisman.

Mettenberger is certainly a good player. I wish him well with this campaign.

Johnny Football's freakshow season made him a virtual lock last year, even though McCarron had a remarkable season.
Point being, it's not likely we'll see the QB of a power running team win the Heisman any time soon. Statistics will never be comparable.

Crystal>Heisman anyway.
