For those who haven't realized yet, Wade and his staff either don’t know how to teach defense OR they don’t prioritize it whatsoever. Tonight is not the first time they’ve been awful defensively this season. Just the worst performance in a season of poor performances on that end of the floor.

How can a team that is so athletic. So versatile. Be so BAD defensively unless the coaching staff just doesn’t give a frick about them being a poor defensive team? They were 127 in defensive efficiency coming into the game. That number will likely be in the 140’s after tonight. For those who don’t know, that is horrible for a power conf team with dreams of contending in March.

This is a good team. But this will be the anchor that keeps them from reaching their full potential.

Dude...it was Wade that stayed in the bad defense.
So, Wade was the one letting the Vandy player drive right around him all night for easy buckets. It had shite to do with what defensive alignment Wade had them in, but everything to do with shitty arse efforts from LSU players like Williams not even attempting to block a players shot or LSU players cutting them off from driving to the goal in the first damn place.

99 points to a team that averages 59.

U N A C C E P T A B L E! ! ! !

This was not about the refs. This was not about our ability to score. This is about the worst and laziest execution of defense I’ve witnessed in a long time. This is on Will Wade and the coaches for a complete lack of adjustments on the defensive end. For a complete half we couldn’t guard a 3. For the other half we couldn’t stop dribble penetration and refused to step out and help.

What an unforgiving loss in a game you need before facing auburn and Kentucky.

Did I touch a nerve? You’re fine with this product?

We went 16-2 in the sec last year and are on the same pace this year halfway through and people are bitching. We were 2-16 the year prior to wade getting here. Dumbest fans in America.

My biggest takeaway tonight is Vandy is going to turn things around quickly under Stackhouse. He's a great coach.

It’s possible this loss could be a wake up call but it could also be a the beginning of a collapse. The team could have peaked already.

Not worried about a collapse when you score 90, just need to play some defense..

I mean the whole first half nearly every drive to the bucket they had was after beating the press.

My favorite part of this site is fans who think it’s unforgivable to ever lose a game. We bring that football mentality to every sport. It’s okay to lose sometimes. Get back to work

And that's where the lack of effort killed us tonight, on the defensive end.

So frustrating to always defend the 3 so poorly. Not only did number 3 have the game of his life but we weren’t ready for their ball movement at all. Auburn might make 30 threes Saturday.

I mean they have like two quadrant 1 wins. They are barely beating shite teams. I’m not sure they’ve peaked but they certainly aren’t as good as people thought. More of this is coming

Mine is our fans don’t deserve a great basketball coach and program. So fair weather they don’t remember the last year of the Johnny Jones era.

So because we are still on pace for 16 wins fans can’t bitch about losing to a team that has lost 27 league games in a row? That doesn’t make sense.

Boohoo didn’t realize you were on the team. I still have no quad 4 losses. Headed back to work in great shape tomorrow.

Anyone who’s watch this club this year should not be surprised at this. It’s called “fools gold” and Wade warned everyone of this in that presser pre-BAMA. LSU is lucky to have only one loss. This team has a litany of weaknesses and those were exposed tonight and will get further exposed in the coming weeks.
