I know Florida alumnai who are big basketball fans and have met Golden at multiple events. I know Mcloser doesn't do that but successful coaches do!

bb- “McMahon is better”

Never said that. I said they didn't deal withthe same set of circumstances. MCmahon inherited an empty roster in a program that was under the cloud of NCAA investrigation for this first two years. It doesn't matter the sanctions were not severe he had to compete for recruits with other schools which used it against LSU. The program was still trending up after year two but the injuries to Reed the past two seasons , Ward's personal issue and D J Thomas' season ending injury derailed the past two seasons. You cannot refute any of this.

Golden inherited a good roster from Mike White and did not have to deal with NCAA clouds nor has he lost top players in any of his tenure. You cannot refute this either.

MCahon had a far more impressive record at a mid major than did Golden. I am not downplaying Golden but McMahon won championships with and without Morant. Golden's best finish was 4th place and his tteam got hot one year and won their conference tournament. All of those are facts.

Would Golden have been more succesful at LSU? Would McMahon have succeeded at Florida? No one knows because it didn't happen, but you cannor refute what I posted.

I don't care if they fire McMahon. It may be besttoi hit the reset for optics and just start a clean slate. None of that changes what happened and the lack of success is not all on McMahon.

When is McMahon going to get LSU to the NCAA tournament?

McMahon was better than Golden on paper and beat Golden head to head. But your hindsight is amazing.

Doesn’t matter. The question pertains to when the hires were made. Swing and a miss, dumbass.

It can NEVER be repeated enough that whenever you put a libtard in charge of ANYTHING important, it goes straight to hell.

Hopefully, LSU has learned that lesson.

That's it make more fricking excuses as to why McClown can't win! Face it the guy is a terrible coach, anytime you tell the media in your post game interview I don't know why we can't win I don't have any answers! Your the frickING COACH pull your head out of your arse and start doing what it takes to WIN! Oh and by the way injuries might have hurt the team a little bit but there's no way in hell those 2 players were the difference between the team going 30-6 instead of 6-30 over 2 years! I mean McClown can't even get his team to 18-18 over a 2 year period! Stop the fricking EXCUSES he is what he is a VERY BAD COACH enough said send him packing!

Ummmm, I upvoted your post because I agree with it completely.

You either got me mixed up with another.poster or responded to my name by accident.

I knew McMahon wasn't gonna be it during his first season. No passion or fire, and no big upsets to hang his hat on. Any good coach pulls an upset or two in his first year and shows flashes. Not McMahon.

Lastly, you are EXACTLY what your record says you are. PERIOD!!!

I have some friends who are close to the athletic programs at Florida who have met Todd Golden and they were creeped out, he seems like a stalker or maybe a guy who would be begging outside of a Circle K.

What yall don’t understand is Golden has a very very rich Donor that solely funds the basketball program.

And almost certainly funded covering up the creeper stuff or maybe better phrased - making it go away.
