All the will wade post have quieted down. Iam glad McMahon is finally turning it around. But wade did make it fun while he was here. Time to turn the page.

Wade was in my opinion most definitely what we needed at the time. We needed his energy and the edge he brought to lift us out of the doldrums of the Johnson/Jones years. In retrospect, I think he was just what the doctor ordered, but it was inevitable that he would eventually burn out or crash at LSU. I will always love what he did here, and at the same time I think McMahon is building something really special, and building it on a solid foundation.

McMahon is a much better X’s and O’s Guy than Wade. Like it or not he can Coach!

I agree with you, he's a consummate professional, has his head down, not paying attention to the outside noise and has this team competing and has a resilience about them.

Team actually played defense, that's different for an LSU team.

Yeah sure you are.

He’s been gradually turning it around from the dumpster fire he inherited. It’s not “finally turning it around”. McMahon can flat out coach circles around fatty McPearshape

“Like it or not he can coach”

Why wouldn’t we like it that he can coach?

It's the smoke cannons behind the backboard.

Because some of you are Will Wade homers, like it or not.

All five on the court have quick feet and are able to keep themselves between the ball handler or their man and the basket.

A few of yall have invented this straw man that doesn't want LSU basketball to be good. Yes people pined for CWW when we were losing but that seems natural when a school gets rid of a winning coach regardless of reasoning. For 99.9% of people, that didn't mean they didn't want CMM to win. I am sure there is a poster or 2 that fits the above mold but its not wide spread at all.

Now what IS true is that fans like a winner and CMM has turned us into winners again. Thats wonderful and we as fans love it. I loved the CMM was so fired up n the sideline last night. You could tell that game meant alot to him.

What is also true: you assholes who think everyone needs to eat crow and won't just let people come around on CMM are insufferable and are taking AWAY from what the Bball team has accomplished thus far. Instead of talking about how great we are playing and praising the players, you guys are trying to make the board a mud fight. Yall are correct that the CWW fans are quiet and instead of enjoying that people are finally coming around, YALL BRING UP CWW...Just be happy LSU is winning and celebrate the team.

Impressive win.

Our guards consistently broke down that FL St press. Most of the time, they attacked the rim after breaking the press. Spears and Carter can score on anyone.

Our D was pretty good as well. Sorry that Reed went down. Collins and Chest can both leap out of the gym. Guards are active on D.

Best team we have had in a few years.

The SEC will be a meat grinder. But I sure like this team. We have scorers, defenders, and guard play. We have defenders. We really need a healthy Reed but we have a few weeks to get him healthy. That width in the middle is nice.

Chest had 10 rebounds again. in only 23 minutes. against Northwestern he had 10 rebounds and 5 blocks in 30 minutes. 13 rebounds in 21 minutes against Kansas State. likely to see some monster games from this guy

agreed that Carter and Sears appear to be able to play with anybody. and these are guards that rebound very well. Sears fills up the stat sheet. last year at U T Martin from his bio -"Only active NCAA Division I men’s basketball player to accumulate at least 650 points, 140 rebounds, 140 assists and 75 made three-pointers in 2023-24 … Six game of at least 30 points..."

Miller, Miller, Collins, Bailey, Givens all contributing and hopefully Reed is ok. This is a good team. the SEC will be brutal this year. hopefully a tourney team, maybe makes some serious noise.

Great guard play is the key to winning in college basketball. We have that this year. I really like the makeup of this team.

You don’t have to choose. You can be a fan of both guys.

It's all about the suit. We can push it up the floor better without Reed. We will need him, eventually. When you have multiple players that can go one on one, you are a difficult team
to defend for most. We need a shot blocker and a few 3 point shooters as well, which we have. Win your home games and they will make the tourney.
